The game between third ranked Spirou Charleroi (11-10) and sixth ranked Limburg United (11-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Spirou Charleroi was defeated by Limburg United in a tough game in Charleroi 76-81. Limburg United dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Spirou Charleroi's 28. The best player for the winners was American forward Seth Tuttle (203-92, college: N.Iowa) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Wen-Boss Mukubu (198-83, college: UAB) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard DJ Richardson (190-91, college: Illinois, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 24 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Limburg United have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Spirou Charleroi. Limburg United is looking forward to face league's leader Oostende at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spirou Charleroi will play against Okapi Aalstar and is hoping to win this game.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Oostende. First ranked Oostende faced 4th placed Basic-Fit Brussels. Host Oostende (17-4) defeated guests from Brussels (11-10) 88-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Basic-Fit Brussels. It was a good game for international forward Pierre-Antoine Gillet (201-91) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). DJ Newbill contributed with 11 points and 8 assists for the winners. American forward Jeremy Simmons (204-89, college: Charleston) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds for Basic-Fit Brussels. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Oostende. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-4 record. Basic-Fit Brussels at the other side dropped to the third position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Oostende will play against Limburg United (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Basic-Fit Brussels will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut and hope to get back on the winning track.

Okapi Aalstar will meet higher ranked Spirou Charleroi (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liege Basket will play against the league's second-placed Antwerp Giants (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.

In the last two games of round 21 Leuven was defeated by Antwerp in a road game 93-81. Kangoeroes beat Mons-Hainaut at home 81-69.
The best stats of 21th round was 18 points and 10 assists by Jason Clark of Antwerp.

Aalstar - Liege 93-66

The game with biggest result difference took place in Aalstar. Local Okapi Aalstar (11-11) outscored 10th ranked Liege Basket (6-16) 93-66 on Saturday night. Okapi Aalstar made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Liege Basket turnovers. The former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (192-89, agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 25 points and 6 steals for the winners and Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds. Troisfontaines is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. Okapi Aalstar's coach Steve Ibens felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was center Boris Penninck (202-88, agency: Promotex) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Stephane Moris (208-86, agency: Promotex) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Okapi Aalstar maintains seventh place with 11-11 record. Liege Basket lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Antwerp - Leuven 93-81

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Leuven Bears (6-15) were defeated on the road by second ranked Antwerp Giants (14-7) 93-81 on Saturday. Antwerp Giants forced 20 Leuven Bears turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Ryan Anderson (206-92, college: Arizona) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Australian swingman Clint Steindl (200-89, college: St.Mary's, CA) with 24 points and Egyptian-American center Omar Samhan (211-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leuven Bears' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Antwerp Giants maintains second place with 14-7 record having just three points less than leader Oostende. Leuven Bears lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. Antwerp Giants will meet bottom-ranked Liege Basket (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leuven Bears will play against Kangoeroes and hope to secure a win.

American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) stepped up and scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Senegalese power forward Pape Badji (208-92) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) with 20 points and the other American import swingman Garlon Green (201-91, college: TCU) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kangoeroes. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Belfius Mons-Hainaut lost their sixth game in a row. Top Division I round 7 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Soba (5-2) against tenth ranked Ieper (3-3) 83-66 was the most important game of the last round.
