Eighth-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (8-14) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (12-10) on Sunday. Basic-Fit Brussels managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected easier game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard TJ Bray (197-92, college: Princeton) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) replied with 22 points for Belfius Mons-Hainaut. Belfius Mons-Hainaut's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Basic-Fit Brussels moved-up to third place, which they share with Kangoeroes. Belfius Mons-Hainaut lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. Basic-Fit Brussels is looking forward to face Kangoeroes (#3) in Willebroek in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play at home against Leuven Bears (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Spirou Charleroi (11-11) against seventh ranked Okapi Aalstar (12-11) on Friday night. Host Spirou Charleroi was defeated by Okapi Aalstar in a tough game in Charleroi 78-85. Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the charge for the winners and Quincy Taylor chipped in 16 points during the contest. At the losing side Serbian power forward Ivan Radenovic (209-84, college: Arizona) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Spirou Charleroi's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to fifth place. Spirou Charleroi lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Limburg United. Okapi Aalstar will play against Limburg United (#7) at home in the next round. Spirou Charleroi will play against the league's second-placed Antwerp Giants and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Limburg United will play against Okapi Aalstar (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 22 Kangoeroes beat Leuven on the road 90-76. Bottom-ranked Liege lost to Antwerp on its own court 87-91.

American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) notched 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the other American import forward Terrance Henry (206-89, college: Mississippi) supported him with 17 points. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Egyptian-American center Omar Samhan (211-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) did not help to save the game for Leuven Bears. American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (190-94, college: Wake Forest) added 14 points and 5 assists for lost side. Five Leuven Bears players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kangoeroes have a solid four-game winning streak.
