Fifth-ranked Limburg United (12-12) made lots of trouble for second ranked Antwerp Giants (17-7) on Wednesday. The visitors from Antwerp managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected easier game. Antwerp Giants made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Limburg United turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Mike Smith (198-87, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Inception Sports) who scored 20 points. The other American import forward Demitrius Conger (196-90, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Antwerp Giants' coach Roel Moors used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Wen-Boss Mukubu (198-83, college: UAB) who recorded 17 points and 5 assists. Antwerp Giants have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-7 record having just one point less than leader Oostende. Limburg United at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. Antwerp Giants are looking forward to face Basic-Fit Brussels (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Limburg United will play against Kangoeroes in Willebroek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Belfius Mons-Hainaut's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to fifth place. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. Okapi Aalstar will play against league's leader Oostende on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Liege Basket (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Kangoeroes will meet at home Limburg United (#6) in the next round. Liege Basket will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) in Jemappes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 24 Leuven was defeated by Brussels in a road game 83-69.

The best for the losing side was American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (190-94, college: Wake Forest) with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and power forward Jonas Delalieux (202-92) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leuven Bears players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basic-Fit Brussels have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-10 record having four points less than leader Oostende. Leuven Bears lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 18 games lost. Basic-Fit Brussels will meet league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leuven Bears will play against Spirou Charleroi (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
