Fifth-ranked Limburg United (12-12) made lots of trouble for second ranked Antwerp Giants (17-7) on Wednesday. The visitors from Antwerp managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected easier game. Antwerp Giants made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Limburg United turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Mike Smith (198-87, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Inception Sports) who scored 20 points. The other American import forward Demitrius Conger (196-90, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Antwerp Giants' coach Roel Moors used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Wen-Boss Mukubu (198-83, college: UAB) who recorded 17 points and 5 assists. Antwerp Giants have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-7 record having just one point less than leader Oostende. Limburg United at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. Antwerp Giants are looking forward to face Basic-Fit Brussels (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Limburg United will play against Kangoeroes in Willebroek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Belfius Mons-Hainaut's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to fifth place. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. Okapi Aalstar will play against league's leader Oostende on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Liege Basket (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a quality performance of Pape Badji who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field). Kangoeroes' coach Daniel Goethals allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Vincent Simpson with 22 points. Kangoeroes maintains fourth position with 13-11 record. Liege Basket lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Kangoeroes will meet at home Limburg United (#6) in the next round. Liege Basket will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) in Jemappes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 24 Leuven was defeated by Brussels in a road game 83-69.

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Leuven Bears (6-18) were defeated on the road by third ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (14-10) 83-69 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Domien Loubry (186-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 assists and American power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (190-94, college: Wake Forest) with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and power forward Jonas Delalieux (202-92) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leuven Bears players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basic-Fit Brussels have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-10 record having four points less than leader Oostende. Leuven Bears lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 18 games lost. Basic-Fit Brussels will meet league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leuven Bears will play against Spirou Charleroi (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rosa Radom (PLK) added to their roster 24-year old American guard Kevin Punter (188-82kg-93, college: Tennessee). He played last season at Port of Antwerp Giants in Belgian Euromillions League. In 16 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.6apg and 1.9spg (in top 2). Punter helped them to make it to the semifinals.
