The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

The most exciting game of round 24 in the Top Division I took place in Brussels. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Soba (12-11) to eighth ranked Royal Brussels (10-13) 52-51 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 13-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Royal Brussels outrebounded Soba 50-32 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American swingman Adam Hall (198-80, college: Virginia) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Thomas Creppy (197-90) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Jonathan Balanga (191-94) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds for Soba. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Royal Brussels moved-up to seventh place. Soba at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Royal Brussels are looking forward to face Ekeren (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Soba will play against Ninane (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
Seventh-ranked Giants B (10-14) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Gembo BBC (17-6) in Antwerp. The visitors from Borgerhout managed to secure only three-point victory 95-92. However their fans expected much easier game. Gembo BBC have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Oxaco. Giants B at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. Gembo BBC will play against Gistel Oostende (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
