Sint Katelijne rallied past Belfius Namur in the opener. Belfius Namur was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 15-6 charge of Sint Kateline Waver, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Belfius Namur to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Heleen Nauwelaers (180-96) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Sara Leemans (178-88) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International center Kyara Linskens (189-96, agency: LBM Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Spanish point guard Anna Gomez (181-86, agency: ProDep Management) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Belfius Namur. Belfius Namur's coach Vincent Bouffioux rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Waregem cruised past Deerlijk to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Tulikivi took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Declercq Stortbeton had a 23-18 second period charge getting the lead and Tulikivi was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 53-93. Declercq Stortbeton dominated on the defensive end, holding Tulikivi to just 4 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Declercq Stortbeton held Tulikivi to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Tulikivi 48-33 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Declercq Stortbeton players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Tulikivi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American Shanavia Dowdell (188-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. The former international point guard Sien Devliegher (177-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Declercq Stortbeton players scored in double figures. Forward Lien Delmulle (181-93) answered with 12 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Isabelle Degels (167-92) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tulikivi. Tulikivi's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.

Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Bosnian center Nikolina Milic (191-94, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kangoeroes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Heleen Adams (172-94) fired 28 points for the winners. American-Cameroonian center Brittany Starling (183-94, college: USC Upstate) chipped in 9 points and 16 rebounds. Center Laura Henket (184-98, agency: LBM Management) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and forward Aleksandra Milanovic (182-94) added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
