Kangoeroes - Liege 82-69

Kangoeroes topped Liege to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Kangoeroes. Liege managed to win fourth quarter 25-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Liege to just 5 points in third quarter. Kangoeroes made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Liege 51-30 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Cameroonian center Brittany Starling (183-94, college: USC Upstate) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Jana Raman (185-91) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Kangoeroes' coach Gerrit Driessens used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Laura Henket (184-98, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Natacha Doppee (168-93, agency: LBM Management) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Sint Katelijne upset Belfius Namur to advance into the semis. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 58-53. Sint Kateline Waver dominated on the defensive end, holding Belfius Namur to just 6 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was international forward Heleen Nauwelaers (180-96) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. The former international swingman Sara Leemans (178-88) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. International center Kyara Linskens (189-96, agency: LBM Management) produced 9 points and 10 rebounds and international Sofie Hendrickx (186-86) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts.

Waregem fired past Deerlijk to complete the sweep of the series. Declercq Stortbeton dominated on the defensive end, holding Tulikivi to just 7 points in fourth quarter. American Shanavia Dowdell (188-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Miete Celus (173-91) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Declercq Stortbeton players scored in double figures. Forward Lien Delmulle (181-93) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Isabelle Degels (167-92) added 14 points in the effort for Tulikivi.
