Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

Top ranked Oostende (22-5) recorded its fifth loss in Willebroek on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Kangoeroes (15-12) 79-75. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Oostende. 24 personal fouls committed by Oostende helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Terrance Henry (206-89, college: Mississippi) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Pierre-Antoine Gillet (201-91) who recorded 15 points. Oostende's coach Dario Gjergja rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kangoeroes maintains fourth place with 15-12 record. Defending champion Oostende still keeps top position with five games lost. Kangoeroes are looking forward to face Okapi Aalstar (#5) on the road in the next round. Oostende will play against Leuven Bears (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
The game in Jemappes supposed to be also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Spirou Charleroi (12-15) played at the court of eighth ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (11-16). Belfius Mons-Hainaut smashed Spirou Charleroi 98-76. It was a good game for Romanian center Alexandru Olah (213-93, college: Northwestern) who led his team to a victory with 25 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Lionel Bosco contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Canadian-Jamaican swingman Jevohn Shepherd (196-86, college: Michigan) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Spirou Charleroi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Belfius Mons-Hainaut maintains eighth place with 11-16 record. Spirou Charleroi at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Spirou Charleroi will play against Basic-Fit Brussels (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games of round 27 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Aalstar was defeated by Antwerp in a road game 98-80. Brussels beat Limburg United at home 92-84. Bottom-ranked Liege lost to Leuven on the opponent's court 82-93.
The best stats of 27th round was 20 points and 6 rebounds by Chris Dowe of Brussels.

Antwerp - Aalstar 98-80

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Okapi Aalstar (14-14) was defeated on the road by second ranked Antwerp Giants (18-9) 98-80. They made 21-of-22 charity shots (95.5 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Jason Clark (188-90, college: Georgetown) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). His fellow American import forward Ryan Anderson (206-92, college: Arizona) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Thomas De-Thaey (203-91, college: N.Carolina St., agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Okapi Aalstar. Five Antwerp Giants and four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Antwerp Giants maintains second place with 18-9 record having four points less than leader Oostende. Okapi Aalstar at the other side keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost. Antwerp Giants will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) in Jemappes in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Okapi Aalstar will play at home against Kangoeroes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (17-10) defeated at home 6th ranked Limburg United (13-14) 92-84. Basic-Fit Brussels players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Limburg United was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for swingman Chris Dowe (193-91, college: Bellarmine) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Basic-Fit Brussels players scored in double figures. Forward Benjamin Simons (203-91, college: Drake) answered with 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Abe Lodwick (201-88, college: Washington St., agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Limburg United. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basic-Fit Brussels have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 17-10 record having five points less than leader Oostende. Limburg United at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Basic-Fit Brussels will play against Spirou Charleroi (#7) on the road in the next round. Limburg United will play against Liege Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Leuven Bears forced 21 Liege Basket turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (190-94, college: Wake Forest) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists. betFIRST Liege Basket (Euromillions League) inked 26-year old American guard Tyler Larson (190-86kg-91, college: S.Dakota). He played most recently at Barons Riga in Latvian LBL league.
