The game between second ranked Antwerp Giants (18-10) and fourth ranked Kangoeroes (16-13) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Antwerp Giants were defeated by Kangoeroes in a tough game in Willebroek 78-83. 34 personal fouls committed by Antwerp Giants helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Senegalese power forward Pape Badji (208-92) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American forward Terrance Henry (206-89, college: Mississippi) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kangoeroes maintains fourth place with 16-13 record. Antwerp Giants at the other side keep the second position with ten games lost. They share it with Brussels. Kangoeroes are looking forward to face Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) in Jemappes in the next round. Antwerp Giants will play at home against Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#8) and are hoping to win this game.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-5 record. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the eighth position with 17 games lost. Oostende will play against league's second-placed Basic-Fit Brussels on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Antwerp Giants (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Leuven Bears managed to escape with a 3-point win 80-77 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was Codi Miller-McIntyre who scored 21 points and 7 assists. Yannick Desiron produced 17 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Leuven Bears maintains ninth place with 9-19 record. Loser Limburg United keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost. Leuven Bears will meet at home higher ranked Antwerp Giants (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Limburg United will play against Spirou Charleroi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 29 Spirou won against Liege on the opponent's court 80-76. Brussels managed to outperform Aalstar in a home game 104-90.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Yunio Barrueta of Aalstar.

Liege - Spirou 76-80

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Liege Basket (6-24) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Spirou Charleroi (13-15) 80-76 on Tuesday.
