Gent Hawks fired past Royal Brussels to sweep the series. Gent Hawks had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Joeri Vermoessen (200-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Center Rik Van-den-Berghe (206-93) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Gent Hawks players scored in double figures. Forward Thomas Creppy (197-90) replied with 22 points and 4 steals and American swingman Adam Hall (198-80, college: Virginia) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Royal Brussels.

Giants B - Oxaco 80-73

Giants B held off Oxaco to even the series at 1-1. Giants B made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Giants B outrebounded Oxaco 52-40 including 18 on the offensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Oxaco helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Roby Rogiers (202-97, agency: Court Side) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Marius Mwendanga (179-98, agency: Court Side) chipped in 22 points. Guard Nick Celis (196-88) produced 29 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Sam Van-Hoey (190-91) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Gembo BBC defeated Soba to draw things level in the series. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. Jens Bouckaert (-91) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Tomas Goethaert (183-83) chipped in 9 points and 5 assists during the contest. Forward Dries Bogaerts (200-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Mitchel Gorremans (191-85) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Houthalen - Waregem 79-85

Waregem overcame Houthalen to advance into the semifinal stage. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Houthalen won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Waregem made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Forward Thomas Foucart (192-84) notched 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and point guard Lars De-Lepeleire (175-91) supported him with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 26 points and 4 assists by forward Bart Maesen (198-89) did not help to save the game for Houthalen. Center Dario Clemente (204-86) added 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Five Waregem and four Houthalen players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

betFIRST Liege Basket (Euromillions League) inked 26-year old American guard Tyler Larson (190-86kg-91, college: S.Dakota). He played most recently at Barons Riga in Latvian LBL league. Larson managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 29 LBL games he averaged impressive 16.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.4apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
