Castors Braine coasted past Kangoeroes to take 1-0 lead in the championship series. The game without a history. Castors Braine led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kangoeroes' 32. Castors Braine forced 25 Kangoeroes turnovers and outrebounded them 47-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Celeste Trahan-Davis (186-85, college: Elizabeth City, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Serbian-Bosnian center Nikolina Milic (191-94, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Five Castors Braine players scored in double figures. American-Cameroonian center Brittany Starling (183-94, college: USC Upstate) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Jana Raman (185-91) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Kangoeroes' coach Gerrit Driessens gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
