After 4 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Top Division I and who belongs to weaker ones.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Soba as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Soba defeated bottom-ranked Giants B in Antwerpen 82-72. Giants B was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 21-10 charge of Soba, which allowed them to win the game. Soba outrebounded Giants B 34-19 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Mitchel Gorremans (191-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Anthony Goetgeluck (182-92) who added 20 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Lenny Coppens (195-99) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Giants B's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Soba have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Waregem. Giants B at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Royal Brussels. Giants B will play next round against Houthalen trying to get back on the winning streak. Soba will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Neufchateau on the road.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Ninane (2-2) against eighth ranked Oxaco (2-1) on Friday night. Host Ninane was defeated by Oxaco in a tough game in Ninane 82-90. The winners were led by Sam Van-Hoey (190-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Maarten Van-Gelder supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Oxaco's coach Raf Vervoort allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 19 points by Romain Fassotte (190-91) did not help to save the game for Ninane. Oxaco moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gembo BBC. Ninane at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Melsele and Neufchateau. Oxaco will play against Melsele (#8) at home in the next round. Ninane will play against Spirou B in Charleroi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Houthalen (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Spirou B (3-1) 109-78 on Friday evening. Sigfredo Casero-Ortiz fired 25 points for the winners. Bart Maesen produced 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spirou B moved-up to third place. Loser Houthalen still closes the standings with four games lost. Spirou B will meet at home Ninane (#7) in the next round. Houthalen will play against Giants B (#12) in Antwerp and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 4: Gembo BBC won against Gistel Oostende on the opponent's court 92-80. Gent Hawks lost to undefeated Waregem in a home game 84-91. Neufchateau managed to beat Melsele on the road 82-71.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 25 points and 14 rebounds by Servaas Buysschaert of Gistel Oostende.
