The Regular Season in Euromillions League just started.

Okapi Aalstar defeated Liege Basket at home 88-80. Okapi Aalstar dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Liege Basket's 30. They outrebounded Liege Basket 34-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. Okapi Aalstar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Slovenian swingman Jakob Cebasek (200-91) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds for Liege Basket. Liege Basket will play next round against Belfius Mons-Hainaut trying to get back on the winning streak. Okapi Aalstar will try to continue on its current victory against Limburg United on the road.

A very interesting game took place in Brussels. It ended with only one-point home defeat of Basic-Fit Brussels (0-1) to Spirou Charleroi (1-0) 66-65 on Saturday evening. Sapp (190-92, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists. Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) came up with 17 points and American swingman Sanjay Lumpkin (198-94, college: Northwestern) added 14 points respectively for Leuven Bears in the defeat. Top Division I round 7 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Soba (5-2) against tenth ranked Ieper (3-3) 83-66 was the most important game of the last round. Ieper outrebounded Soba 37-26 including 29 on the defensive glass.
