Celik Zenica is the new champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They won the title with perfect 10-0 record in League Six. Earlier this season Celik already won the Bosnian Cup and finished as the second ranked team of Adriatic league (MZRKL). In the last round of the League Six, Celik handed 77-71 loss to Sloboda. Marina Ristic (168-G-87) led the winners with 16 points and Matea Tavic (178-G-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) followed with 12. Lejla Bejtic (174-F-85) (8 rebs) and Monika Veselovski (183-F-77) helped with 11 points each. At the other side, Sloboda got 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists from Zvjezdana Gagic (169-G-81, agency: Global Sports Plaza). Quarters: 11-18, 17-19, 25-16, 24-18. Mladi Krajisnik finished as No.2 in Bosnia this season, while Sloboda ended as third ranked team. Zeljeznicar, Rudar Sport and Jedinstvo follow them. Final 2011/12 standings is below.

Celik Zenica defends the Cup trophy - Mar 26, 2012
Celik Zenica is the Cup winner in Bosnia for the second straight year. They outplayed Mladi Krajisnik 76-66 in the Big Final, which was played last night. Lejla Bejtic (174-F-85) was the leading scorer in victory with 18 points (5 rebounds). Monika Veselovski (183-F-77) secured a great help adding 16 points and 9 boards, while Tijana Rus (180-F-75) helped with 13 pts. Marina Ristic (168-G-87 followed them with 11 points in this crucial meeting. In the loosing squad, Milica Deura (178-G-90) shined with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Ivona Bogoje (193-C-76) and Dragoslava Zakula (173-G-73, agency: Data Plus Group) (5 rebs) scored 16 and 10 points respectively. Celik shined at the beginning and after the breather as well, what was enough for the victory. Quarters: 20-10, 16-19, 23-16, 17-21. Celik won the Bosnian Cup also last year. They reached Cup Finals in 2006 and 2009.
