Siroki TT defended their title! - May 30, 2011

Finals Game 4: Siroki TT - Igokea 95-81

Siroki TT defended their title as they won the Finals over Igokea 3-1. The fourth game became the last in the series as the defending champions celebrated 95:81 home victory. Last year Siroki also has managed to defend the title after sweeping the finals series against Igokea 3-0. In front of almost 5000 fans, Siroki players had no troubles against visiting Igokea, winning Game Three 83-68 to claim another title.
Again more than 5000 came to support the winners and saw the triumph of the local Siroki. The hosts opened the game with 27-16, but could not keep the lead in the first half. Igokea bounced back with 30-19 in the second frame to tie the score at the halftime. In the second half the hosts however dominated the court. They won the third period 26-21 and then finished the game with 23-14 in the last period.
Sinisa Stemberger (195-G-79) paced all the winners with 23 points and Ivan Grgat (210-C/F-74, agency: Court Side) posted 15. Fran Pilepic (192-G-89) ended up with 14 points, while Vedran Morovic (184-G-83, agency: Beo Basket, college: Olney Central CC) netted 12. Brian Chase (178-G-81, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 24 points in defeat and Nebojsa Joksimovic (193-G-81, agency: Beo Basket) scored 19. Mladen Pantic (209-C-82, agency: Beo Basket) finished the night with 18 points, whilst Marko Djerasimovic (200-F/G-84) added 6.

Siroki TT Kabeli wins the Cup - Feb 13, 2011

Siroki TT Kabeli is the new Cup winner. The reigning Bosnian champion did it last time in 2008. Sime Spralja (206-F/C-83) was their leading player today with 21 points and Vedran Morovic (184-G-83, agency: Beo Basket, college: Olney Central CC) secured a great help adding three points less. Sinisa Stemberger (195-G-79) followed them with 12 pts. Bosna ASA BHT, Muhamed Pasalic (192-G-87) responded with 17 points. Marko Batina (198-G-86) and Dzenan Rahimic (204-C/F-74) netted 11 points each.
Bosna ASA BH Telecom shined at the beginning and surprised the home team fans with 18-25 lead after 10 minutes. However, Sime Spralja and his teammates woke up immediately after that and they drained 30 more points until the halftime. They stopped Bosna to 13 and were up by 10. Visitors intensified defense after the breather and managed to win third period 10-16. Question about the winner is resolved in the finish as Siroki players managed to end the last period with 15-15 tie.
In the Semifinals of Bosnian Cup, Siroki TT Kabeli escaped with 104-100 OT win against Igokea. Before that, Siroki was better than Mladost 86-70.
