Nura Imamovic signs with Celik - Sep 15, 2009

Celik has brought in a great reinforcement this summer. According to various reports from Bosnian media, they have agreed a deal with Nura Imamovic (197-C-74). Reportedly, 35-year old center has signed one year deal with the club. Imamovic stated that she is glad to return to Bosnian League after spending large part of her career abroad. She hopes that she will be able to help Celik achieve a good result in the upcoming season. Even though she would not confirm nor deny, this may be her last season of active playing. Still it remains to be seen how she will feel once the season is over and whether she will decide to change her mind. On thing is for sure - Celik has received great and experienced player at the center position.
Nura Imamovic started her career with Jedinstvo Tuzla and has also played for Zelejznicar. Since than she has started her European journey playing in several leagues abroad. She played for the likes of Besiktas Istanbul, Bursa Yildirim Belediye, Herceg Novi, EBE Promociones P.D.V and Botas. Last season she moved to Romania, where she signed with U Trustul Cre Cluj Napoca. In 12 League games, Imamovic posted averages of 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. She was also a member of Bosnian National Team and has represented Bosnia at the European Championship in 1997.

The most exciting game of round 8 in the Division I took place in Tuzla. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Orlovi (2-7) to fourth ranked Jedinstvo (5-4) 77-74 in the game for the fourth place. Orlovi was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 21-17 charge of Jedinstvo, which allowed them to win the game. Bembibre lands Dragana Svitlica - May 16, 2016

Embutidos Pajariel Bembibre PDM (LFB) landed 28-year old Bosnian center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas). She has played for the last two years at Zamarat (LFB). In 21 games she averaged 12.0ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.7apg last season. Among other achievements Svitlica's team won Hungarian Hepp Cup in 2014.
