BC Celik Zenica is set to announce the signing of experienced Bosnian international. According to the reports from Bosnian media, Aida Pilav (187-C-87) is set to return to Celik - the club where she started off her career. She spent past season playing in Greece and Poland and is seen as great reinforcement for Celik. She is the fourth reinforcement for Celik, who has stated some serious ambitions for the upcoming season.
Aida Pilav made her professional debut during 2005-2006 season as member of Celik Zenica. Following season she made a move to Hungarian outfit Szolnok. There she played in 26 games and has posted averages of 6.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. In 2007 she returned to Bosnia where she was snapped by Mladi Krajisnik. Pilav averaged 12.4 points and 5.2 boards per game in 18 Adriatic league matches. She has helped the team win the National cup in 2008 and has repeated the feat in 2009 as well. Pilav upped her averages to 17.0 points and 7.1 rebounds in 15 Adriatic league games. This season she started as member of Apollon Ptolemaidos in Greece where she played in 7 games and has averaged 10 points and 2.1 rebounds. In January 2010, she moved to Poland where she became a member of Enerega Torun. For Energa Torun, Pilav averaged 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 15 league games. Pilav is a regular member of Bosnia NT.

28 years ago, "Jedinstvo Aida" (Tuzla) won European Champions' Cup ( i.e. today's Euroleague). "Jedinstvo Aida" won Europe's most prestigious women's basketball trophy by beating "Primigi" Vicenza of Italy 74:70 (37:35) in the Champions' Cup final in Florence on March 22, 1989.
