Round Seven of the Bosnian top division for women (League Six) was played last weekend.
Celik outplayed Zeljeznicar on the road 58-77 keeping the perfect record in the league, 7-0. Lejla Bejtic (174-F-85) and Matea Tavic (178-G-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) were the leading players in victory with 18 and 16 points respectively. Zeljeznicar (2-5) got 21 points and 9 rebs from Emina Demirovic (186-C-85).
The second ranked Mladi Krajisnik (6-1) outplayed Jedinstvo (0-7) at home 79-59. Milica Deura (178-G-90) stepped up for the winners with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Ivona Bogoje (193-C-76) secured a great help with 17 points and 8 rebs.
Also in the last round, Sloboda cruised past Rudar on the road 61-84. Zvjezdana Gagic (169-G-81, agency: Global Sports Plaza) netted 23 points in victory and Dragana Svitlica (190-C-88) added 20 points, plus 10 rebs.
Round Eight is scheduled for the next weekend.
