Slovenia-Bosnia and Herzegovina 79:80

Bosnia and Herzegovina upset the hosts in the capital of Slovenia in the start of Adecco 2012. Bosnian team grabbed valuable 80:79 win over Slovenia in Day 1 of the tournament.
Bosnia and Herzegovina erupted with 31-19 in the first period and looked better from the start. Slovenia replied with 27-21 in the second frame and reduced to 52:46 at the halftime. Both teams nailed 17 points each in the third period before the final battle in the last quarter. Slovenia won the period 16-11 but managed to cut it to just one point.
Mirza Teletovic (206-F-85, agency: Beo Basket) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Nihad Djedovic (196-F-90, agency: Beo Basket) nailed 20. Zack Wright (188-G-85, college: Central Mo.) ended up with 14, while Elmedin Kikanovic (211-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) scored 12. Gasper Vidmar (211-C/F-87) delivered 15 points in the losing effort and Zoran Dragic (196-F/G-89) as well as Bostjan Nachbar (207-F-80) had 12 each. Jure Balazic (204-F-80) delivered 11 points in a loss.

Spars Sarajevo keeps Micic for another season - 15 hours ago

OKK Spars Sarajevo (Division I) re-signed 23-year old small forward Djordje Micic (202-93). He played there last season. In 27 Division I games he averaged 5.9ppg and 2.2rpg. Micic helped them to make it to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup Semifinals. The previous (14-15) season he played at Gradjanski where in 22 Division I games he had 7.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg.
