Celik is the winner of third memorial 'Amna Fazlic Tournament' in Zenica. The reigning Bosnian champion outplayed Alba Iulia in the final game 68-64. Monika Veselovski (183-F-77) led the home squad with 18 points in this meeting, while Alma Kovacevic (186-F/C-83) helped with 13. Rada Vidovic (177-G-79) and Zvjezdana Gagic (169-G-81, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 10 points each. In the loosing squad, Amanda Thompson (183-F-87, college: Oklahoma) and Rebecca Tobin (195-F-88, college: Arizona St.) delivered 15 and 13 points respectively. Ekaterina Abramzon (185-F-87) stopped to 10 points. In the Semifinals Celik eliminated Serbian team Jagodina. Alba Iulia downed Croatian Medvescak 49-58.
Third place in Zenica belongs to Medvescak, who was better than Jagodina 75-52. Nina Premasunac (186-F-92) was the leading player in victory with 17 points. Ana-Marija Begic (190-C-94) followed her with 12, while Iva Todoric (174-F-93) added 11 pts in this meeting. In Jagodina, Ivana Grubor (185-F/C-84) better than the others with 16 points. Djordjevic stopped to 10.
