Milica Deura joins Serbian and Adriatic league champ - Partizan Galenika - Sep 17, 2012

Milica Deura (178-G-90) is a new member of Partizan Galenika. The Bosnian guard penned a deal for the upcoming season and already joined her new teammates. Deura leaves Mladi Krajisnik Banja Luka after 13 years. She started there as teenager. In 2011 and 2012 Milica Deura was named Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Player of the Year. Last season she had 18.3 ppg, 3.4 rpg and 3.1 apg for 9 Bosnian league games. Her numbers were even better in 2010/11. In Adriatic league the player collected 17.7 ppg, 3.1 apg and 2.6 rpg for 18 games last season. She was fourth scorer of the competition and No.5 in assists. Deura helped Mladi Krajnsnik to win Bosnian league title a year ago. They also were Cup winners in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Milica Deura played for the Bosnian National Team in Qualifications to European Championships Division B 2011. She shined with 15.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 3.3 apg in 4 games.

One of the best Bosnian centers, Aleksandra Begenisic (194-C-89) has signed contract with Spanish club "Ensino" from Lugo. Begenisic started the season at ZKK "Zeljeznicar", Sarajevo (Bosnia D1) as one of key players recording a double-double (25 pts, 12 rebs) in one of three games while in Bosnia. This week's number one is an international center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas).
