We bring you last week's top performances from Bosnians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Ernest Bremer (194-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Turkey). Bremer was the major contributor in a Fenerbahce Ulker's victory against the 12th-ranked Mersin (1-2) crushing them 74-50 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 10 points and added 3 assists. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (4-0) is placed first in the TBL. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This season Bremer averages: 3.5ppg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 16.7%. He is a naturalized American. Bremer played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team one years ago. He used to play for Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina league.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Muhamed Pasalic (192-87, currently plays in Greece). Pasalic led Aris to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Panelefsiniakos (1-3) 85-76 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Pasalic recorded 20 points in 26 minutes. Aris Thessaloniki (3-2) is placed fifth in the A1. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Pasalic's first season with the team. This year his overall stats are: 9.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.3apg, 2FGP: 54.5% and FT: 83.3% in the four games he played so far. Pasalic is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Henry Domercant (194-80, college: E.Illinois, currently plays in Turkey). He contributed to Galatasaray's victory against the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes (3-1) 83-73 in a derby game in the Turkish TBL last Monday. Domercant scored 9 points. It was his first game for Galatasaray this season. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. His team is placed second in the TBL. So far Galatasaray won all four games in the Regular Season. Domercant is a naturalized American. He is also a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely Domercant has never played in Bosnia.

Center Ognjen Kuzmic (215-90, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a 2-point FIATC Joventut's victory against the 14th-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (1-5) 82-80 in the Spanish ACB on Saturday night. He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 21 minutes. FIATC Joventut Badalona (4-2) is placed ninth in the ACB. This year Kuzmic's total stats are: 6.0ppg and 5.0rpg in the six games. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

International forward Nihad Djedovic (198-90, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an ALBA Berlin's victory against the closely-ranked TBB Trier (4-2) 88-80 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. Djedovic recorded 13 points. ALBA Berlin (3-2) is placed eighth in the BBL. Djedovic has relatively good stats this season: 12.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.6apg and 1.6spg. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Center Esmir Rizvic (213-82, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Zlatorog (2-1) crushing them 95-69 in the Slovenian Telemach League on Saturday night. Rizvic scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. KK Maribor Messer (2-1) is placed second in the Telemach League. This season Rizvic has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg and 5.3rpg. He is a former international player as he played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior team three years ago.

Former international guard Marko Popovic (193-84, currently plays in Serbia) was the main contributor in Sloga's victory against the eighth-ranked Tamis (3-2) 83-79 in the Serbian A League in Saturday night's game. He was the best player in that game. Popovic recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and making 12 passes. He also added 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Sloga this season. His team is placed 13th in the A League. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. Popovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team three years ago.

Center Elmedin Kikanovic (210-88, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to an overtime Enisey Krasnoyarsk's victory against the fifth-ranked VEF Riga (2-2) 96-93 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He was the top player that evening. Kikanovic recorded 21 points (made all of his five free throws). Enisey Krasnoyarsk (2-1) is placed third in group B. Kikanovic has averaged so far 9.7ppg and 2.3rpg. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

International guard Goran Ikonic (196-80, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to a 3-point Halychyna's victory against the league outsider BC Odessa (2-9) 85-82 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Friday night's game. Ikonic scored 14 points in 23 minutes. Politekhnika-Halychyna Lviv (8-3) is placed fourth in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Ikonic has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2apg in the 11 games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked TED Kolejliler (2-2) crushing them 112-76 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game. Bajramovic recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (3-1) is placed fifth in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Bajramovic has averaged so far 6.3ppg and 3.8rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

   #11. International forward Adnan Hodzic (203-88, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Lipscomb, currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Starwings 88-73 in the Swiss LNA on Saturday night. Hodzic was the top player that evening. He scored 26 points (!!!), grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Hodzic is currently sixth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Hodzic averages: 19.0ppg, 7.4rpg and 2.2apg. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

   #12. International point guard Nemanja Gordic (192-88, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague could not help Azovmash to beat Budivelnyk. Gordic scored 9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 27 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 90-70. He has reliable stats this year: 10.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.3apg in the 11 games. Gordic is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #13. An experienced international point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (180-79, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Goran Ikonic and both played together in the last Ukrainian Superleague game. Vasiljevic contributed to a 3-point Halychyna's victory against the league outsider BC Odessa 85-82. He scored 8 points and added 9 assists. Vasiljevic has averaged so far 8.3ppg, 1.4rpg, 5.4apg and 1.1spg. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #14. International forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, currently plays in Croatia) contributed to a KK Zagreb's victory against the eighth-ranked Alkar Sinj 84-80 in the Croatian A1 in Saturday night's game. Halilovic scored 9 points. He has averaged so far 1.8ppg and 1.6rpg. Halilovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

   #15. International guard Zack Wright (195-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in Russia) was not able to help Spartak St.Petersburg in their game against CSKA Moscow in the Russian PBL. He recorded 6 points. His team was defeated 78-68. Wright has averaged so far 4.7ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.7apg. He is a naturalized American. Wright is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Apparently he has never played in Bosnia.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Mirza Begic (217-C-85, currently plays in Euroleague) led his Spanish team Real Madrid to a victory over the sixth-ranked Cantu (1-3) 80-66 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Begic had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 23 minutes. Real Madrid (3-1) is placed first in group A. This year Begic averages: 8.8ppg and 4.3rpg in the four games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.

   #2. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89, currently plays in Turkey) was the main contributor in a Fenerbahce Ulker's victory against the 13th-ranked Besiktas (0-3) 83-74 in a derby game in the Turkish TBL last Monday. Bogdanovic was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points, 3 assists and 3 steals. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (4-0) is placed first in the TBL. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this year: 14.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #3. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, currently plays in Russia) contributed to Khimky's victory against one of league's weakest teams BC Nizhny Novgorod (1-3) 86-82 in the Russian PBL on Monday night. Planinic was MVP of the game. He recorded 15 points in 24 minutes. BC Khimky Moscow Region (2-0) is placed second in the PBL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Planinic has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg in the two games. He has both Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina nationalities.

   #4. Damir Markota (209-F-85, currently plays in Turkey) faced previously mentioned Bojan Bogdanovic in the Turkish TBL last game. Markota, who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Besiktas (2-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance Besiktas lost 74-83 in a derby game to the leading Fenerbahce Ulker. Markota was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Markota's first season with the team. This year Markota's overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.3apg in the four games. Similarly like Planinic and Bogdanovic above he also holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #5. Suad Sehovic (196-G/F-87, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to a 3-point Khimik's victory against the sixth-ranked Hoverla (6-5) 88-85 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night. Sehovic scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). Khimik-OPZ Yuzny (9-2) is placed first in the Superleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Sehovic has relatively good stats this season: 12.2ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.6apg. He has Montenegrin and Bosnia and Herzegovina nationalities.

   #6. Marko Keselj (206-SF-88, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Valencia Basket's victory against the 15th-ranked Cajasol 82-73 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday. Keselj scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 19 minutes. Keselj has averaged so far 4.3ppg and 1.8rpg in the six games. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian passports.

   #7. Sasha Topchov (206-C-80, currently plays in Romania) was the major contributor in Oradea's victory against the eighth-ranked Ploiesti 94-85 in the Romanian Division A in Friday night's game. Topchov scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 26 minutes. Topchov has reliable stats this year: 12.8ppg and 4.7rpg in the six games.

   #8. Toni Bizaca (202-F-82, currently plays in Sweden) helped Sodertalje Kings win their game against the tenth-ranked White Eagles 86-68 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. He recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks (made all of his five free throws). Bizaca is currently ninth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Bizaca averages: 17.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.1apg and 1.4spg.

   #9. Seid Hajric (203-F-83, currently plays in Poland) helped Anwil win their game against the closely-ranked Polpharma 85-75 in the Polish TBL on Saturday night. He was the best player in that game. Hajric scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. He has reliable stats this year: 12.7ppg and 5.5rpg in the six games. Hajric has Bosnia and Herzegovina and Polish nationalities.

   #10. Igor Josipovic (203-F/C-88, currently plays in Slovenia) helped Maribor Messer win their game against the closely-ranked Polzela crushing them 79-55 in the Slovenian Telemach League last Sunday. He scored 17 points in 22 minutes. Josipovic has reliable stats this year: 12.7ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3spg in the three games.
