HKK CAPLJINA LASTA ON TOP IN KSBiH AND DOING IT THE RIGHT WAY!
HKK CAPLJINA LASTA is undefeated so far in the Bosnian domestic league at 4 wins and 0 losses so far. They also have done in the right way, rebuilding after a tough offseason losses of players and rebuilding around young talent. On the active roster the team has 7 players under 21 years old! These young players have contributed to all the team victories so far!
The team lost top players Krunoslav Rimac, Jozo Brkic and Marko Jagodic Kuridza as well as top Croatian prospect Dino Repesa.
The team has been methodical about building around young talent and letting them go when they become too expensive. Their model of team building along with that of Siroki WWin should be the model that all other teams in BiH use instead of recycling averaged prospects and players on their retirement tours of BiH.
Specifically when you look at one time European champions KK BOSNA and you see the same players year after year contributing to underperforming teams while young talent waste on the bench or are allowed to leave (including top European prospect Cedi Osman, Bosnian breakout player Armin Hot who never got his chance and Edin Residovic) and yet the team struggles financially and on the court year after year. KK BOSNA ASA has started out a disappointing 2-2 so far and has played 21 year old and their top prospect Nermin Buza limited minutes so far.

Brandon Fortenberry leaves Igokea - 6 days ago
Guard Brandon Fortenberry(190-G-90, college: SE Louisiana, agency: BeoBasket) is no longer a member of Igokea. The club from Aleksandrovac has decided to terminate the agreement with the American. They did so with 8 rounds remaining in the ABA League this season. Fortenberry appeared in 15 ABA League games this season and has averaged 5.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assist per contest. It is definitely less than the management of the club has expected when he was arriving from the Bulgar...   [read more]
