Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Bosnians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Milica Deura (178-90, currently plays in Adriatic League). She led her Serbian team Partizan to a victory over the bottom-ranked Ilrija (0-7) crushing them 110-36 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. Deura was MVP of the game. She scored 18 points and had 3 steals in 29 minutes on the court. ZKK Partizan Galenika Beograd (7-0) is placed first in group T. So far her team won all seven games in the Regular Season. It's Deura's first season with the team. This year Deura averages: 6.9ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.3apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 61.9%(13-21), 3FGP: 36.8% in the eight games she played so far. She played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team one years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Biljana Savic (191-83, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Bulgaria). Savic was the major contributor in Beroe's victory against the closely-ranked Rilski Sportist (2-2) 74-60 in the Bulgarian NBL last Sunday. She scored 14 points, made 4 passes and 4 steals. Beroe Stara Zagora (3-2) is placed third in the NBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Savic has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 16.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.8apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 50.8%, 3FGP: 42.9%. Savic played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 2011.

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Matea Tavic (178-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Slovenia). She was the main contributor in Ilrija's victory against one of league's weakest teams Domzale (0-4) crushing them 88-68 in the Slovenian SKL on Wednesday night. Tavic was the best player in that game. She scored 19 points in 37 minutes. KED Panter Ilirija Ljubljana (2-2) is placed fifth in the SKL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Tavic is ranked third on the list of the top scorers in the league with 19.0ppg. This year her other stats are: 4.0rpg, 2FGP: 47.8%, 3FGP: 19.0% and FT: 88.5% in the three games. Tavic played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team one years ago.

Nikolina Milic

   #4. Center Nikolina Milic (195-94, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League could not help Radnicki KG (3-3) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Radnicki KG lost 51-60 on the road to the second-ranked Jagodina 2001. Milic was the top scorer with 15 points in 22 minutes. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Milic belongs to league's best rebounders (ranked #2) and also on the list of best blockers (third place). She has very reliable stats this year: 12.2ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.2bpg in the six games. Milic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team back in 2010.

   #5. International center Emina Demirovic (186-85, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Sp.Studentesc's victory against the fifth-ranked Timisoara (5-2) 70-56 in the Romanian Division A on Saturday night. She recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 14 rebounds. Demirovic also added 3 assists. CSM Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti (3-6) is placed tenth in the Division A. Demirovic has relatively good stats this season: 11.4ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5spg. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

Vanja Milosevic

   #6. Forward Vanja Milosevic (182-91, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League was not able to help Srbobran Reahem (3-4) in their last game. Despite Milosevic's good performance Srbobran Reahem lost 54-61 in Kragujevac to the higher-ranked (#4) Radnicki KG. She was the second best scorer with 12 points in a mere 19 minutes. It was Srbobran Reahem's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Milosevic's overall stats are: 8.6ppg and 5.3rpg in the seven games. She is a former U18 international player as she played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina team three years ago.

   #7. International guard Tamara Kapor (184-91, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Mladi Krajisnik (3-4) 77-61 in the Adriatic League last Sunday. Kapor recorded 11 points and added 3 assists. Radivoj Korac Beograd (6-2) is placed third in group T. Kapor's total stats this season are: 6.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.3apg. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

Dzenita Novi

   #8. Guard Dzenita Novi (180-93, currently plays in Slovenia), who plays in the Slovenian SKL was not able to secure a victory for AJM Maribor (2-3) in their last game. Despite Novi's good performance AJM Maribor lost 43-58 at home to the higher-ranked (#4) Jezica. She was the top scorer with 10 points. Novi also added 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 31 minutes. Novi is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her fourth year in AJM Maribor's roster. She is currently fourth on the league's list of best blockers with 0.8bpg. This year Novi's other stats are: 10.4ppg and 7.6rpg in the five games. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team back in 2010.

   #9. International center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to an overtime Atomeromu's victory against the eighth-ranked Cegledi EKK (2-7) 78-75 in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. Svitlica scored 6 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Atomeromu KSC Szekszard (5-2) is placed fourth in the A Division. Svitlica is the league's best blocker. Her total stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.7bpg. Svitlica used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

   #10. Guard Irena Vrancic (167-90, currently plays in Adriatic League) managed to help Vozdovac Beograd to win against the ninth-ranked Sloboda (1-6) crushing them 69-49 in the Adriatic League on Saturday night. Vrancic scored only 4 points and added 7 passes. Vozdovac Beograd (5-2) is placed fifth in group T. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Vrancic is ranked second on the list of the best passers in the league. This season she has very good stats: 13.3ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.4apg and 2.3spg. Vrancic is a former U18 international player as four years ago she still played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #11. Former U18 international forward Martina Jazic (185-90, currently plays in Croatia) couldn't help Pleter in their game against KK Zadar in the Croatian A1. She scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 17 minutes. Her team was badly defeated by 19 points 87-68. This year Jazic's total stats are: 7.2ppg and 6.2rpg in the five games. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team five years ago.

   #12. Former international guard Marija Kovac (175-89, currently plays in Croatia) couldn't help Tresnjevka in their game against Lupa Promotion in the Croatian A1. Kovac cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 3 points. Her team was crushed by 50 points 93-43. Kovac has averaged so far 5.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3spg. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2008.

   #13. International forward Marina Dzinic (187-92, currently plays in Switzerland) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Hope-GBA in their game against Riva Basket in the Swiss LNA. She scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Her team was defeated 64-58. This season Dzinic has relatively solid stats: 13.7ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.1spg. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Aleksandra Begenisic (193-C-89, currently plays in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 could not help Aris (3-3) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her very good performance Aris was crushed 70-36 in a derby game by the lower-ranked PAOK (#6). Begenisic was the top scorer with 16 points. She also added 8 rebounds. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Begenisic has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg and 8.3rpg.

   #2. Selma Delibasic (193-C-80, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Calabria (2-4) in their game against Min.Battipaglia (4-2) in the Italian A2 (12th division). She recorded 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 36 minutes. The tenth-placed Calabria was crushed 82-58 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Min.Battipaglia in the South group. Delibasic is currently sixth on the league's list of best rebounders with 9.7rpg. This year she also averages: 9.5ppg in the six games she played so far.

   #3. Viktorija Mestrovic (169-G-93, currently plays in Croatia) was not able to secure a victory for Croatia 2006 (1-1) in their game against ZKK Medvescak (3-2) in the Croatian A1. Mestrovic cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points in 3 minutes on the court. Tresnjevka was crushed 93-43 on their home court in by the leading Lupa Promotion. was crushed 83-52 in a derby game by the lower-ranked (#5) ZKK Medvescak. This year Mestrovic averages just 2.0ppg in the four games.

   #4. Belma Subasic (168-G-95, currently plays in Switzerland) couldn't help Highflyers (1-6) in their game against Helios (7-0) in the Swiss LNA. Subasic cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points in 26 minutes. Highflyers were crushed 108-47 at home by the leading Helios. It was Highflyers' fifth consecutive loss in a row. Subasic has averaged so far 2.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.2spg in the six games. She has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Swiss.
  



Aleksandra Begenisic moves to Spain - 4 hours ago

One of the best Bosnian centers, Aleksandra Begenisic (194-C-89) has signed contract with Spanish club "Ensino" from Lugo. Begenisic started the season at ZKK "Zeljeznicar", Sarajevo (Bosnia D1) as one of key players recording a double-double (25 pts, 12 rebs) in one of three games while in Bosnia.
