Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bosnia and Herzegovina players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81, currently plays in Eurocup). Bajramovic led his Turkish team Banvit BK to an overtime victory against the closely-ranked Azovmash (0-4) 95-88 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 12 rebounds. Bajramovic also added 3 assists in 31 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (3-1) is placed second in the Eurocup. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Bajramovic averages: 7.8ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.3apg, 3FGP: 30.8% in the four games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Zack Wright (195-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in Eurocup). Wright led his Russian team Spartak St.Petersburg to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (2-2) 77-74 in the Eurocup last Wednesday. He recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Spartak St.Petersburg (4-0) is placed first in the Eurocup. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Wright's first season with the team. Wright has relatively good stats this year: 10.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.8apg, 2FGP: 73.7%(14-19) and FT: 66.7% in the four games. He is a naturalized American. Wright is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Bosnia.

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Nihad Djedovic (198-90, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Germany). Djedovic was the major contributor in an ALBA Berlin's victory against the 11th-ranked Bayern Muenchen (5-6) 82-70 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 25 minutes. ALBA Berlin (7-2) is placed third in the BBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This year Djedovic has relatively solid stats: 12.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.8apg, 3FGP: 23.8% and FT: 87.2% in the nine games. He is also a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

Point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Serbia) led OKK Beograd to a victory over the league outsider Vrsac 122-113 in the Serbian A League last Saturday. Nesovic was MVP of the game. He scored 31 points (!!!), grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 8 assists. OKK Beograd (5-6) is placed 11th in the A League. Nesovic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #6. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.7apg. Nesovic has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

Former international center Esmir Rizvic (213-82, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in Slovenia), who plays in the Slovenian Telemach League could not help Maribor Messer (5-2) in their last game. Despite Rizvic's very good performance Maribor Messer lost 78-85 on the road to the second-ranked Helios. He had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds in 36 minutes. They ended the series of five consecutive victories. Rizvic has reliable stats this year: 13.1ppg and 6.4rpg in the seven games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team three years ago.

Shooting guard Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to an overtime PGE Turow's victory against the seventh-ranked BC Donetsk (3-4) 83-81 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. Opacak recorded 13 points in 36 minutes. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (2-5) is placed ninth in group A. This year Opacak's overall stats are: 7.0ppg and 2.5rpg in the six games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

International center Ognjen Kuzmic (215-90, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a FIATC Joventut's victory against the closely-ranked CB Canarias (2-8) 92-81 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Kuzmic recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 2 blocks (made all of his five free throws). FIATC Joventut Badalona (5-5) is placed 12th in the ACB. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Kuzmic's total stats this season are: 6.4ppg and 6.0rpg. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

Forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, currently plays in Croatia) helped KK Zagreb win their game against the ninth-ranked Osjecki Sokol (2-7) crushing them 102-79 in the Croatian A1 on Sunday night. Halilovic scored 12 points, grabbed 4 boards, handed out 5 passes and blocked 2 shots in a mere 18 minutes. KK Zagreb (7-2) is placed second in the A1. This year Halilovic's total stats are: 3.4ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.1apg in the eight games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last year.

International point guard Nemanja Gordic (192-88, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Serbian team Partizan win their game against the closely-ranked Cedevita (7-4) 58-55 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. He recorded 6 points and had 3 steals in 17 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Partizan MT:S Beograd (8-3) is placed second in the Adriatic League. Gordic has averaged so far 5.7ppg and 1.7rpg in the three games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

An experienced point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (180-79, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) helped Halychyna win their game against the league outsider Dnipro (4-13) 79-68 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Sunday night's game. Vasiljevic recorded 14 points (made all of his six free throws). Politekhnika-Halychyna Lviv (10-7) is placed sixth in the Superleague. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Vasiljevic has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 4.8apg and 1.2spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

   #11. Former international guard Marko Popovic (193-84, currently plays in Serbia) helped Sloga win their game against the closely-ranked KK Jagodina 87-77 in the Serbian A League last Saturday. Popovic scored 16 points, grabbed 5 boards, passed 7 assists and added 6 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Popovic is currently eighth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (second place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Popovic averages: 15.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 6.3apg and 2.0spg. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team three years ago.

   #12. Former international point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in EuroChallenge), who plays in Romania was not able to help Timisoara (1-3) in their last game. Despite Jovanovic's very good performance the fourth-placed Timisoara lost 86-97 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#3) Kormend in the group F of EuroChallenge. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Jovanovic also added 6 passes in 34 minutes. He has very impressive stats this year: 17.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.8apg in the four games. Jovanovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2009.

   #13. International forward Milan Milosevic (205-85, currently plays in Eurocup) helped his Montenegrin team Buducnost win their game against the closely-ranked Spirou Charleroi 59-55 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. He recorded 8 points. Milosevic has averaged so far 2.8ppg and 1.5rpg. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #14. International guard Henry Domercant (194-80, college: E.Illinois, currently plays in Eurocup) managed to help Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul in a victory against the league leader Lokomotiv crushing them 76-52 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Domercant recorded only 3 points in 3 minutes on the court. This year he averages just 3.0ppg in the two games. Domercant is a naturalized American. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Apparently Domercant has never played in Bosnia.

   #15. Former international center Barisa Krasic (203-78, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Croatia was not able to secure a victory for KK Zadar (3-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance KK Zadar lost 79-92 in Kragujevac to the much higher-ranked (#6) Radnicki KG. Krasic was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 3 assists in 24 minutes. Krasic has averaged so far 8.4ppg and 2.3rpg in the 11 games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team seven years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, currently plays in VTB United League) led his Russian team Khimky to a victory over the sixth-ranked Lietuvos rytas (3-4) 80-69 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Planinic recorded 20 points and added 4 assists in 25 minutes. BC Khimky Moscow Region (6-1) is placed first in group A. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Planinic is ranked seventh on the list of the best passers in the league with 4.5apg. He also averaged so far 12.8ppg and 3.7rpg in the six games he played so far. Planinic has a dual citizenship: Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #2. Mirza Begic (217-C-85, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked CAI Zaragoza (6-4) 94-79 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. He recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Real Madrid (10-0) is placed first in the ACB. So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Begic averages: 5.9ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.1bpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.

   #3. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89, currently plays in Turkey) was the main contributor in a Fenerbahce Ulker's victory against the ninth-ranked Turk Telekom (3-5) crushing them 103-81 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. Bogdanovic was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points and added 3 assists. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (7-1) is placed third in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this year: 13.4ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.4apg. He has both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian nationalities.

   #4. Damir Markota (209-F-85, currently plays in Turkey) was the major contributor in Besiktas' victory against the 12th-ranked Hacettepe (2-6) 69-63 in the Turkish TBL on Monday night. Markota recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Besiktas Istanbul (4-4) is placed seventh in the TBL. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This season Markota has relatively solid stats: 10.4ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.8apg. He also holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #5. Stanko Barac (216-C-86, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Anadolu Efes Istanbul to win against the fifth-ranked Cedevita (2-6) 81-73 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Barac scored 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (5-3) is placed third in group C. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Barac's overall stats this season are: 5.0ppg and 3.0rpg. Similarly like Markota and Bogdanovic above he has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #6. Suad Sehovic (196-G/F-87, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague could not help Khimik (11-4) in their last game. Despite Sehovic's very good performance Khimik lost 85-92 at home to the lower-ranked (#9) Cherkasy. He was the second best scorer with 17 points in 25 minutes. Sehovic's stats this year are: 12.6ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.5apg in the 15 games. He holds both Montenegrin and Bosnia and Herzegovina passports.

   #7. Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Hungary was not able to help Szolnok (2-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Sehovic's very good performance the bottom-ranked Szolnok was crushed 87-53 on the road by the much higher-ranked MZT Skopje (#7). He was the top scorer with 15 points. Sehovic also added 6 rebounds. Sehovic's stats this season are: 12.6ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.7apg. He has Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegrin nationalities.

   #8. Bojan Sarcevic (190-G-88, currently plays in Finland) contributed to KTP-Basket's victory against the eighth-ranked Salon Vilpas 85-72 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Saturday night's game. Sarcevic was the best player in that game. He scored 21 points, had 4 boards, passed 4 assists and added 3 steals. Sarcevic has averaged so far 9.7ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #9. Nikola Jeftic (202-F-85, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to an OKK Beograd's victory against the league outsider Vrsac 122-113 in the Serbian A League last Saturday. He scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. Jeftic's stats this year are: 10.7ppg and 3.7rpg in the 10 games. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian passports.

   #10. Mato Peraica (203-C-81, currently plays in Croatia), who plays in the Croatian A1 was not able to secure a victory for Vrijednosnice OS (4-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Peraica's very good performance Vrijednosnice OS was crushed 90-68 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked KK_Zabok (#6). He was the top scorer with 22 points. Peraica also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Peraica belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #6) and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Peraica averages: 17.2ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.8apg.

CS Dinamo Bucuresti (Liga Nationala) re-signed 33-year old Bosnian international guard Marko Sutalo (194-83). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Sutalo was a team leader there last season. In 36 Liga Nationala games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.4apg. Dominion Bilbao Basket keeps Todorovic for another season - 3 days ago

Dominion Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) re-signed 22-year old Serbian-Bosnian forward Dejan Todorovic (198-89kg-94). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 23 Liga Endesa games he averaged just 2.3ppg and 1.8rpg last season. Todorovic helped them to make it to the semifinals. He also played 14 games in Eurocup where he had 3.4ppg and 1.6rpg. Defending champion BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Division I) landed 26-year old American guard Brandon Fortenberry (190-84kg-90, college: SE Louisiana, agency: BeoBasket). He played most recently at Balkan in Bulgarian NBL league. In 33 games he averaged 13.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg last season. Fortenberry helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
