Egypt NT edge Sarajevo Bosna at Amsterdam Tournament. The African team posted all narrow wins in four quarters for the final 75:63 success in the opener.
Egypt started the game with 13-9 and added 21-20 in the second period. The African team led 34:29 at the halftime and did not slow down in the second half. Egypt NT posted 24-20 rally in the third quarter and finished the game with 17-14 in the last stanza.
Ibrahim Jamal top-scored for the winners with 12 points and Tarek Ghanam as well as Ramy Abdallah had 10 each. Mohamad Korshid delivered 9 and Cherif Genedi added 7. Sindis Demic (192-G/F-83) answered with 14 points in defeat, while Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) collected 13 points and 11 rebounds, Alin Demic (202-G/F-91) and Nermin Buza (206-F/C-91) posted 10 each, while Edin Alispahic (208-F/C-88) netted 8.
In Day 2 Terra Flames will face Egypt NT, while Santa Barbara will take on BC Siauliai.
