Groningen Gasterra Flames- Sarajevo KK Bosna 82:56

Groningen Gasterra beat Sarajevo KK Bosna in Amsterdam in Groningen Basketball Week in Holland. The Dutch team overcame the guest from Bosnia 82:56.
Groningen Gasterra Flames opened the game with 17-14, but had difficulties to win the first half. The Bosnian team replied with 17-16 in the second frame and reduced to 2 points at the halftime. The third quarter was however decisive in the game as the hosts erupted with 29-4 for the massive lead. Sarajevo KK Bosna answered with 21-20 in the last stanza for the final result.
Jamal Boykin (203-F-87, college: California) stepped up with 17 points and Jessey Voorn (193-SG-90, agency: Court Side) scored 15. Jason Dourisseau (196-G-83, college: Nebraska) poured in 10 points, while Nate Rohnert (197-G-87, college: Denver) and Rogier Jansen (188-G-84, agency: Court Side) delivered 9 each. Edin Alispahic (208-F/C-88) ended up with 19 points in defeat and Sindis Demic (192-G/F-83) brought 12. Alin Demic (202-G/F-91) added 11, while Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) posted 6.

CS Dinamo Bucuresti (Liga Nationala) re-signed 33-year old Bosnian international guard Marko Sutalo (194-83). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Sutalo was a team leader there last season. In 36 Liga Nationala games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.4apg. Dominion Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) re-signed 22-year old Serbian-Bosnian forward Dejan Todorovic (198-89kg-94). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 23 Liga Endesa games he averaged just 2.3ppg and 1.8rpg last season. Todorovic helped them to make it to the semifinals. He also played 14 games in Eurocup where he had 3.4ppg and 1.6rpg. Defending champion BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Division I) landed 26-year old American guard Brandon Fortenberry (190-84kg-90, college: SE Louisiana, agency: BeoBasket). He played most recently at Balkan in Bulgarian NBL league. In 33 games he averaged 13.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg last season. Fortenberry helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
