Bosnian recap at the 2012 Citta di Roma tournament!

KK SPARS exceeded all expectations in the 2012 Citta di Roma tournament and crushing Fenerbache by 18 in the finals!
A recap of Bosnian players who played in the tournament both for SPARS and other teams

Doko Salic: A coming out party for Doko , he dominated the competition in Rome averaging 21.8ppg 10.5rbpg and playing 36 minutes per game. His is a skilled, crafty scorer who shows a variety of moves and is tough. He plays hard and rebounds well. He has been playing against players older than him in Bosnia and internationally for the Serbian U16 and U18 teams and has played well. His weaknesses are a lack of passing skill and defense, particularly blocking shots. In four games Doko had zero assists and two blocks, the lack of blocks is surprising considering his physical development and size at 210cm.

Nedim Buza: He flashed the talent that made him the MVP this summer of Moscow Basketball without Borders Camp and also with the senior Bosnian National Team at the tender age of 17. He is a skilled scorer who shows a ton of upside, he is just still very inconsistent and is played at the four with KK SPARS domestically which isnt helping his skill development as he projects to be a 3 as an adult.

Aleksej Nikolic: Aleksej is Slovenian but his father was from Bosnia and he plays for KK SPARS and played very well in this tournament. He is a talented all-around player who flashes a lot of ability but lacks a super high upside. He is more of a combo guard than a pure point guard and is a good slasher and scorer.

Adi Zahiragic: he struggled mightily in the tournament even though he has flashed good ability with Bosnian youth teams in the past. He failed to hit his outside shot which is puzzling because it used to be a strength of his.

Amar Alibegovic: Bosnian/American who was surprise in this tournament. He has good size and decent scoring skills. He didnt play a lot in the tournament but averaged 6ppg and 3.3 rbpg and showed some ability as a future professional.

Kenan Karahodzic: Serbian Bosnian who has been talked about a lot because of his 210cm size and skill, he didnt particularly standout in this tournament. He didnt play very much and didnt flash anything that would say he is an outstanding talent. At the same time you didnt see enough of him to say he isnt a decent prospect who could develop over time.
