Ramo Rizvic claims Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I weekly honour - Jan 8, 2013

Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Bosna and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 15 points and twelve rebounds, while his team crushed Capljina (9-3) with 22-point margin 94-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Bosna to jump to the first place in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bosna has a very solid 9-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It's Rizvic's second year at Bosna and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Ramo Rizvic averages this season 15.7ppg and 5.9rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina forward Bojan Setencic (198-F-88) of Leotar. Setencic impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Leotar cruised to a 85-75 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Kakanj (#6, 5-7). This victory allowed Leotar to move up to 11th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Setencic is one of the most experienced players at Leotar and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Mujo Tuljkovic (203-F-79, agency: Beo Basket) of Vogosca (#12). Tuljkovic got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and four assists. Despite Tuljkovic's great performance Vogosca lost 81-88 to the higher-ranked Posusje (#9, 4-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Vogosca not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tuljkovic could try to bring Vogosca's a little bit higher in the standings. Tuljkovic has individually a great season in Bosnia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.8ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 8.4rpg (3rd best).

10. Marko Josilo (201-G-92) of Varda HE - 14 points and 13 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.

Golden Eagle Ylli (SuperLeague) added to their roster 26-year old Bosnian guard Eldin Camdzic (195-90). He played last season at KK Student Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Mar.'16. In 9 A1 Liga KSHB games he recorded 9.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.2apg. Ante Djugum (ex KK Split) agreed terms with Siroki Primorka - 5 days ago

HKK Siroki Primorka (Division I) inked 28-year old Croatian center Ante Djugum (211-88, agency: Court Side). He has played for the last two years at KK Split in Croatian A1 league. In 32 games he recorded 9.3ppg and 4.4rpg last season. The previous (14-15) season Djugum was tested by KK Zadar (also in A1). His team made it to the A1 League Semifinals in 2014. B.Muenchen to sign Amar Gegic, ex Spars Sarajevo - 5 days ago

FC Bayern Muenchen (BBL) agreed on terms of contract with 18-year old Bosnian international shooting guard Amar Gegic (198-98). He has played for the last four seasons at Spars Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 23 games he had 4.0ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.3apg last season.
