Lejla Bejtic
CSM Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti (Liga Nationala) added to their roster 28-year old Bosnian forward Lejla Bejtic (175-85). She just played at Celik in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 10 Adriatic League games this year she recorded 10.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.9apg and 1.3spg. The last season Bejtic played also at Celik in Division I. In 10 games last year she averaged 10.5ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.5apg and 2.4spg. She helped them to win the league title and the cup. Bejtic also played 20 games in Adriatic League where she averaged 10.2ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.1apg. She contributed to her team making it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as Bejtic was voted Eurobasket.com Croatian A1 All-Imports Team back in 2007. She represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 five years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 8.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.4apg, FGP: 53.3%, 3PT: 37.5%, FT: 70.8%.
Bejtic is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Germany (SV Halle Lions and Herner TC), Italy (Viterbo), Croatia (Ragusa) and Bosnia (Jedinstvo, Zeljeznicar and Mladi Krajisnik).
