Marko Brkic
Igokea - Crvena Zvezda 80:77

Igokea proved their highest ambitions for the Adriatic League season once again sneaking past Crvena Zvezda for the 15th win. The Bosnian team celebrated a home success to remain on top of the ladder at 15-3 record. Marko Brkic (206-F/C-82, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up with 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead well-balanced effort from the hosts.
The teams went nip and tuck throughout the first quarter. The scoreboard read 19:19 after ten minutes. Igokea surged ahead in the second term. The hosts dropped 27 points in the period and cleared off to a 6-point distance at halftime. Crvena Zvezda were able to narrow the deficit at one-point mark 53:54 late in the third term. However Marko Brkic and Adamovic capped the quarter with back-to-back three-pointers to make it 64:58 for the hosts. The gap grew at 8-point mark before Crvena Zvezda returned into this one. Boris Savovic (210-F-87, agency: Beo Basket) and DeMarcus Nelson (193-G-85, college: Duke) put the visitors on level terms with the hosts heading into the final minute 77:77. Stemberger responded with a crucial treble and Radivojevic was not able to connect on the other end of the floor as Igokea clinch a dramatic win at the end. Branko Jorovic (204-F-81, agency: Beo Basket) connected for 13 points, while Clifford Hammonds (191-G-85, college: Clemson) and Milos Komatina (205-F/C-84) posted 12 points each for the winners.
