Basket Slovanka MB Tabor (ZBL) added to their roster 30-year old Bosnian center Biljana Savic (191-83, agency: LBM Management). She just played at Beroe in Bulgarian NBL league. In 9 games this season she recorded 13.6ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.4spg. The last season Savic played at Zeljeznicar (Division I) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 6 games last year she averaged impressive 17.7ppg, 9.8rpg, 4.2apg and 1.7spg.
The previous (10-11) season she played at ICIM Arad (Liga Nationala) in Romanian Liga Nationala. In 25 games that season she averaged 7.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.0apg. She helped them to win the league title and the cup. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com Romanian League All-Bosmans Team. Savic represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 five years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 7.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.7spg, FGP: 43.5%, 3PT: 11.1%, FT: 71.4%.
Savic has played previously professionally in Serbia (ZKK Vrsac and Kovin) and Romania (Alexandria).
