We bring you last week's top performances from Bosnians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is former U18 international center Marica Gajic (187-95, currently plays in Slovenia). She led Athlete Celje to a victory over the league outsider Grosuplje (2-10) 69-57 in the Slovenian SKL in Wednesday night's game. Gajic was MVP of the game. She recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in 34 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Athlete Celje this season. Her team is placed first in the SKL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Gajic played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team three years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international guard Tamara Kapor (184-91, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Serbia. She could not help Radivoj Korac (10-4) in their last game on Friday. Despite Kapor's very good performance the third-placed Radivoj Korac was crushed 88-53 in a derby game by the leading Partizan in the group T of Adriatic League. She was the top scorer with 29 points. Kapor also added 7 rebounds. This season Kapor averages: 8.9ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.7apg, 2FGP: 62.3%(43-69), 3FGP: 5.9% and FT: 77.1%. She played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 2011.

Amra Mehmedic

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Amra Mehmedic (177-81, currently plays in Bulgaria). Mehmedic contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Beroe (5-8) crushing them 79-53 in the Bulgarian NBL on Saturday night. She had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. Mehmedic also added 5 assists in 40 minutes. Haskovo 2012 (6-8) is placed fifth in the NBL. Mehmedic has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 18.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 6.6apg, 3.9spg, 2FGP: 42.9% and FT: 94.4%(17-18) in the seven games she played so far. Mehmedic played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.

   #4. Center Emina Demirovic (186-85, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Sp.Studentesc (7-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her very good performance Sp.Studentesc was defeated 73-60 at home by the higher-ranked Alba Iulia (#4). Demirovic was the top scorer with 16 points. She also added 6 rebounds. Demirovic is currently third on the list of best rebounders. She has very reliable stats this season: 11.9ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg. Demirovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2011.

Former international forward Lejla Bejtic (175-85, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Emina Demirovic and both played together in the last Romanian Liga Nationala game. Bejtic, who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to secure a victory for Sp.Studentesc (7-9) in their last game. Despite her good performance Sp.Studentesc lost 60-73 on their home court in Bucuresti to the higher-ranked (#4) Alba Iulia. Bejtic was the second best scorer with 12 points. She also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. Bejtic has relatively good stats this year: 15.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.5apg and 3.0spg in the two games. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.

   #6. Center Biljana Savic (191-83, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Czech Republic) contributed to a Basket Slovanka MB's victory against one of league's weakest teams DSK Karlin (3-16) 84-72 in the Czech Republic ZBL last Sunday. Savic recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Basket Slovanka MB this season. Her team is placed ninth in the ZBL. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Savic is a former international player as she played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior team two years ago.

Former international power forward Alma Kovacevic (186-83, currently plays in Bulgaria) is a teammate of previously mentioned Amra Mehmedic and both played together in the last Bulgarian NBL game. Kovacevic helped Haskovo 2012 win their game against the league outsider Beroe (5-8) crushing them 79-53. She scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. This year Kovacevic has relatively solid stats: 11.3ppg, 10.1rpg and 1.3apg in the seven games. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team three years ago.

Forward Vanja Milosevic (182-91, currently plays in Serbia) helped Srbobran Reahem win their game against the closely-ranked Student Radnicki (7-8) 72-62 in the Serbian A League in Saturday night's game. Milosevic recorded 10 points. Srbobran Reahem (7-8) is placed seventh in the A League. It's Milosevic's first season with the team. Her overall stats this year are: 7.5ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1spg. Milosevic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team back in 2009.

Former international power forward Anja Stupar (180-89, currently plays in Adriatic League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tamara Kapor and both played together in the last Adriatic League game. Stupar couldn't help Radivoj Korac (10-4) in their game against Partizan (14-0). She scored 5 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 34 minutes. It was his first game for Radivoj Korac this season. Radivoj Korac (#3) was crushed 88-53 in a derby game by the leading Partizan in the group T of Adriatic League. Stupar used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.

   #10. Center Nikolina Milic (195-94, currently plays in Serbia) couldn't help Radnicki KG (9-5) in their game against Vrbas Medela (7-8) in the Serbian A League. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Milic recorded only 1 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Radnicki KG was defeated 65-58 on the road by the lower-ranked Vrbas Medela (#5). Milic is ranked fifth on the list of the best rebounders in the league and also on the list of best blockers (third place). This season she has very good stats: 12.6ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.1bpg. Milic is a former U18 international player as three years ago she still played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #11. Former international center Dragana Svitlica (190-88, currently plays in Hungary) helped Atomeromu win their n overtime game against the eighth-ranked Cegledi EKK 91-86 in the Hungarian A Division in Sunday night's game. She scored 7 points in 17 minutes. Svitlica is the league's best blocker with 1.2bpg. She also averaged so far 11.3ppg and 5.4rpg in the 18 games. Svitlica used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.

   #12. Former international guard Milica Deura (178-90, currently plays in Adriatic League) faced previously mentioned Tamara Kapor in the Adriatic League last game. Deura managed to help ZKK Partizan Galenika Beograd in a victory against the third-ranked Radivoj Korac crushing them 88-53 in a derby game. She scored only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court. This year Deura's overall stats are: 5.6ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg in the 15 games. She used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2011.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Ivana Jovanovic (185-F/C-85, currently plays in Croatia), who plays in the Croatian A1 could not help Tresnjevka (6-7) in their last game. Despite her good performance Tresnjevka lost 66-70 at home to the lower-ranked (#9) Rockwool Pula. Jovanovic recorded 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 35 minutes. It was his first game for Tresnjevka this season.

   #2. Antonela Anic (177-F-85, currently plays in Croatia) was not able to help Studenac Omis (4-8) in their game against Jolly (10-2) in the Croatian A1. Despite her very good performance on Saturday night Anic was the top scorer with 16 points. She also added 6 rebounds. Anic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #7. This season she has very good stats: 12.7ppg, 7.7rpg, 1.5apg and 2.5spg.

   #3. Aleksandra Begenisic (193-C-89, currently plays in Greece) managed to help Aris Thessalonikis to win against the closely-ranked Asteras (5-8) 73-61 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. She recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Aris Thessalonikis (6-7) is placed fifth in the A1. It was her team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Begenisic's overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg and 6.9rpg.

   #4. Sedina Halimic (195-C-83, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to Vojvodina's victory against the closely-ranked Celik (9-6) 81-67 in the Adriatic League in Friday night's game. Halimic scored only 4 points. Vojvodina Nis Novi Sad (10-6) is placed fourth in group T. There are only two games left until the end of the Adriatic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Halimic's total stats this season are: 2.7ppg and 3.2rpg.

   #5. Experienced Selma Delibasic (193-C-80, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Calabria (3-12) in their game against College Italia (2-13) in the Italian A2 (12th division). She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Delibasic recorded only 2 points in 29 minutes. Calabria (#11) lost 48-56 on their home court in Reggio Calabria to the lower-ranked (#12) College Italia in the South group. It was Calabria's eighth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Delibasic has reliable stats this year: 11.0ppg, 8.7rpg and 1.5spg in the 15 games she played so far.

Olympiacos Pireus (A1) signed 26-year old American (has also Bosnian passport) center Lynetta Kizer (193-98kg-90, college: Maryland). Kizer managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. She played this summer at Indiana Fever (WNBA). In 17 games she had 7.4ppg and 2.9rpg. The last season she played at Galatasaray (KBSL) in Turkish league. In two games she recorded 14.5ppg and 3.0rpg.
