Siroki WWin earned a tough road win against Zadar tonight. The win helped the Bosnian team jump at 7-13 record in the Adriatic League standings. Marko Sutalo (193-G-83, agency: BeoExcell) dropped 22 points to lead all scorers.
Siroki WWin set the tone early in the game. The visitors outscored the home team 23:15 in the starting quarter. Zadar slowed the visitors down a bit in the second quarter. The Croatian team however still trailed by 8 at the interval 32:40. Zadar knocked down 25 points in the third quarter to cut the deficit. The home team entered the fourth term down by just 2 points. Romeo Travis levelled things up at 60 early in the fourth frame. Goran Vrbanc (194-G-84) nailed five points in a row to put Zadar in front 65:60. Zadar led by a single point entering the final minute of regulation 76:75. But Marko Sutalo dropped a jumper and then followed with four consecutive free throws to seal the victory. Karlo Vragovic (192-G-89) chipped in 17 points for the visitors. Franko Kastropil (212-C-84) answered with 19 points for Zadar. Goran Vrbanc totalled 17 points in the loss.

OKK Spars Sarajevo (Division I) re-signed 18-year old Serbian forward Aleksa Stepanovic (206-98). He played there last season. In 6 Division I games he averaged 3.3ppg and 1.2rpg. Part of previous (2014-15) season Stepanovic spent at Fair Play Nis (KLS) in Serbian league. He helped them to win the group title. Piric re-signs at Spars Sarajevo - 2 days ago

OKK Spars Sarajevo (Division I) confirmed in their roster 19-year old center Alija Piric (211-97). He has played there for the last three seasons. But in 16 Division I games he had just 1.6ppg last season. Piric helped them to make it to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup Semifinals. He won Bosnian A1 Liga championship title in 2013.
