Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Bosnians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Zack Wright (195-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in Eurocup). Wright led his Russian team Spartak St.Petersburg to a victory over the closely-ranked Stelmet ZG (1-3) crushing them 81-54 in the Eurocup last Wednesday. He was MVP of the game. Wright recorded 17 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Spartak St.Petersburg (3-1) is placed second in group K. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. It's Wright's first season with the team. Wright is currently seventh on the league's list of best passers. He has very reliable stats this season: 11.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.6apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 77.2%(44-57), 3FGP: 35.7% and FT: 68.4%. Wright is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely Wright has never played in Bosnia.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Ognjen Kuzmic (215-90, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. Kuzmic could not help FIATC Joventut (10-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance FIATC Joventut was edged 69-67 on the road by the lower-ranked (#14) Blancos de Rueda. Kuzmic had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 29 minutes. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. This year Kuzmic averages: 7.8ppg, 6.2rpg, 2FGP: 54.3% and FT: 75.9% in the 19 games he played so far. He is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international guard Ernest Bremer (194-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy). Bremer contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked SAIE3 BO (7-11) crushing them 91-68 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. He scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 20 minutes. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (11-7) is placed sixth in the SerieA. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Bremer's overall stats are: 5.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.9apg, 1.1spg, 3FGP: 22.6% in the seven games. He is a naturalized American. Bremer played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago. He used to play for Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina league.

   #4. Forward Mirza Teletovic (206-85, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the Brooklyn Nets (28-19) in their game against the Miami Heat (30-14) in the NBA. Teletovic recorded 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in only 14 minutes. The Brooklyn Nets were badly defeated 105-85 in Miami by the Heat. This year Teletovic's total stats are: 3.5ppg and 1.5rpg in the 26 games. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

Bajramovic has averaged so far 8.0ppg and 4.7rpg. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Shooting guard Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a PGE Turow's victory against one of league's weakest teams Start Gdynia (5-14) 78-64 in the Polish TBL in Sunday night's game. Opacak scored 13 points in 35 minutes. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (14-4) is placed first in the TBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Opacak has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 2.8rpg in the 17 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

International point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League was not able to secure a victory for OKK Beograd (9-10) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Nesovic's very good performance OKK Beograd was defeated 77-71 at home by the higher-ranked Metalac (#3). He was the top scorer with 17 points. Nesovic also added 4 boards, dished 9 assists and stole 4 balls. Nesovic is ranked fifth on the list of the best passers in the league and also on the list of most steals (second place). This season he has very good stats: 13.8ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.2apg and 2.1spg. Nesovic is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #8. Guard Muhamed Pasalic (192-87, currently plays in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 couldn't help Aris (8-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Aris was badly defeated 81-62 in Athens by the second-ranked Panathinaikos. Pasalic was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 3 steals in 31 minutes. Pasalic has relatively good stats this year: 12.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg in the 15 games. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #9. Former international guard Marko Popovic (193-84, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League couldn't help Sloga (6-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Popovic's very good performance Sloga was edged 74-72 on their home court in Kraljevo by the lower-ranked Vojvodina (#14). He was the top scorer with 24 points. Popovic also added 6 assists. Popovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #2) and also on the list of best passers (first place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Popovic averages: 18.1ppg, 2.6rpg, 7.3apg and 1.6spg. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team four years ago.

   #10. Power forward Elvir Ovcina (212-76, agency: Interperformances, college: Syracuse, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL couldn't help LTi 46ers (4-16) in their last game. Despite Ovcina's very good performance the bottom-ranked LTi 46ers was crushed 107-71 on their home court in Giessen by the much higher-ranked (#10) Walter Tigers. He was the top scorer with 26 points. Ovcina also added 8 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks in 40 minutes. It was LTi 46ers' sixth consecutive loss in a row. Ovcina is currently seventh on the league's list of best rebounders with 6.6rpg. This year he also averages: 13.2ppg and 3.3apg in the 16 games. Ovcina is a former international player as eight years ago he still played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #11. International guard Nemanja Mitrovic (197-90, college: Portland, currently plays in Greece) was the main contributor in Kavala's victory against the league outsider Panelefsiniakos 68-66 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He was the best player in that game. Mitrovic scored 19 points. He has averaged so far 9.0ppg and 2.7rpg. Mitrovic plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #12. Former international point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Romania) was the major contributor in Timisoara's victory against the 14th-ranked Oradea 63-56 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. He scored 18 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 39 minutes. Jovanovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #6) and also on the list of best passers (third place). He has very impressive stats this year: 16.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 6.3apg in the 20 games. Jovanovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2009.

   #13. International forward Ante Masic (200-85, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Croatian team Cedevita win their game against the league leader Igokea 64-56 in the Adriatic League on Sunday night. He scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 19 minutes. Masic has averaged so far 5.8ppg and 2.8rpg in the five games. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #14. Former U18 international forward Dejan Jeftic (200-89, currently plays in Serbia) helped Vrsac win their game against the 14th-ranked KK Jagodina 101-87 in the Serbian A League on Sunday night. Jeftic recorded 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg and 3.8rpg. Jeftic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team back in 2007.

   #15. U18 international swingman Armin Bilic (195-94, currently plays in Montenegro) helped Lovcen win their double overtime (!!!) game against the closely-ranked Sutjeska 89-82 in the Montenegrin 1A in Saturday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 40 minutes. Bilic has averaged so far 7.1ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.1spg in the 11 games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89, currently plays in Turkey) led Fenerbahce Ulker to a victory over the eighth-ranked Erdemir (7-10) 82-77 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Bogdanovic recorded 26 points (!!!), 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (15-2) is placed first in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.6apg in the 17 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #2. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to Khimky's victory against the closely-ranked Caja Laboral (4-2) 83-71 in the Euroleague on Friday night. He scored 13 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 28 minutes. BC Khimky Moscow Region (4-2) is placed third in group F. Planinic is currently second on the list of best passers with 5.9apg. This year his other stats are: 13.5ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.3spg in the 15 games. Planinic is another player who holds two passports: Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #3. Mirza Begic (217-C-85, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Gescrap BB (12-8) crushing them 94-74 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game. He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Real Madrid (19-1) is placed first in the ACB. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This season Begic averages: 5.4ppg and 2.9rpg. He has both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian nationalities.

   #4. Miroslav Todic (205-F-85, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian Lega2 (second division) could not help LeGamberi Foods Forli (8-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Todic's very good performance LeGamberi Foods Forli was edged 79-76 on the road by the higher-ranked Tuscany Pistoia (#4). He recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 18 rebounds. Todic also added and 3 steals. Todic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #2. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Todic averages: 15.4ppg and 9.9rpg. He also holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian.

   #5. Damir Markota (209-F-85, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Turk Telekom (5-12) crushing them 85-59 in the Turkish TBL in Monday night's game. Markota recorded 7 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in 25 minutes. Besiktas Istanbul (11-6) is placed sixth in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Markota's overall stats are: 7.6ppg, 5.6rpg and 2.2apg in the 17 games. He has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #6. Stanko Barac (216-C-86, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Hacettepe crushing them 91-61 in the Turkish TBL last Monday. Barac scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Barac's overall stats this season are: 3.9ppg and 2.1rpg. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian passports.

   #7. Goran Suton (208-C-85, college: Michigan St., currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to Cedevita's victory against the league leader Igokea 64-56 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. Suton scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Suton's total stats this season are: 4.7ppg and 2.7rpg. Similarly like Barac and Markota above he has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #8. Toni Bizaca (202-F-82, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan was not able to help Sodertalje Kings (16-6) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Sodertalje Kings was defeated 78-71 in Norrkoping by the lower-ranked Dolphins (#6). Bizaca was the second best scorer with 19 points. Bizaca is currently seventh on the list of top scorers. This season he has very high stats. Bizaca averages: 16.8ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.5apg.

   #9. Nikola Jeftic (202-F-85, currently plays in Serbia) was the major contributor in an OKK Beograd's victory against the closely-ranked Borac crushing them 85-60 in the Serbian A League in Sunday night's game. Jeftic recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists. This season Jeftic has relatively solid stats: 11.6ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4spg. He has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian.

   #10. Suad Sehovic (196-G/F-87, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Khimik (15-12) in their last game. Despite Sehovic's good performance Khimik lost 72-80 in Lviv to the higher-ranked (#4) Halychyna. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. This year Sehovic has relatively solid stats: 11.2ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.2apg in the 27 games. He holds both Montenegrin and Bosnia and Herzegovina passports.

CS Dinamo Bucuresti (Liga Nationala) re-signed 33-year old Bosnian international guard Marko Sutalo (194-83). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Sutalo was a team leader there last season. In 36 Liga Nationala games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.4apg. Dominion Bilbao Basket keeps Todorovic for another season - 5 days ago

Dominion Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) re-signed 22-year old Serbian-Bosnian forward Dejan Todorovic (198-89kg-94). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 23 Liga Endesa games he averaged just 2.3ppg and 1.8rpg last season. Todorovic helped them to make it to the semifinals. He also played 14 games in Eurocup where he had 3.4ppg and 1.6rpg. Defending champion BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Division I) landed 26-year old American guard Brandon Fortenberry (190-84kg-90, college: SE Louisiana, agency: BeoBasket). He played most recently at Balkan in Bulgarian NBL league. In 33 games he averaged 13.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg last season. Fortenberry helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
