Ramo Rizvic
Forward Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Bosna, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Borac Nektar (#6, 8-10) 78-69. It allowed Bosna to consolidate first place in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bosna has a very solid 13-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Rizvic had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Bosna and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Ramo Rizvic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 7.1rpg) and averages impressive 70.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Igor Damjanovic (190-G-85) of Servitium. Damjanovic had a very good evening with a triple-double of 12 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. It was enough for Servitium to edge slightly higher-ranked Kakanj (#10, 7-11) 75-69. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Servitium managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 11th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-12 record. Damjanovic is one of the most experienced players at Servitium and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian guard Nemanja Kovacevic (194-G-85) of league's second-best Capljina. Kovacevic scored 24 points and passed four assists. He was a key player of Capljina, leading his team to a 81-71 win against the lower-ranked Posusje (#9, 7-11). Capljina needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 5 lost games. Kovacevic has a great season in Bosnia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.4apg (4th best). He also has 2.4spg and FGP: 62.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Nebojsa Pavlovic (200-SG-87) of Borac Nektar - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Ivan Bakovic (197-G-81) of Posusje - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Luka Drezga (196-G-87) of Kakanj - 25 points and 5 rebounds
7. Boris Lalovic (209-C-81) of Zrinjski HT - 19 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Vedran Borovcanin (200-G/F-85) of Radnik B. - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Dejan Savic (202-F-85) of Servitium - 18 points and 4 rebounds
10. Ninoslav Milosevic (196-SF-79) of Mladost - 14 points and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Miracles Can Happen Bosnia moves onto World Cup 2019! - 3 days ago
Miracles Can Happen Bosnia moves onto World Cup 2019! Bosnia has five players in the NBA and not a single one answered the bell to play for Bosnia at World Cup qualifiers. The NBA was not happy about risking its players to play in what it deemed such a minor tournament. Bosnia was left shorthanded before the qualifying tournament even began as other players refused the call up to the national team and were sanctioned for their absence. KSBiH brought in the legendary coach Dusko Vujose...   [read more]
