The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Bosna-Royal as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bosna-Royal defeated 5th ranked Spars Sarajevo at home 81-65. Serbian Strahinja Dragicevic (203-86, agency: AproK Sports Group) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (183-79, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: BeoExcell) responded with 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Spars Sarajevo at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Spars Sarajevo will play next round against strong Kakanj trying to get back on the winning streak. Bosna-Royal will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Kakanj at home.
Bottom-ranked Gradjanski managed to get a third victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they won against sixth-ranked Mladost in Bijeljina 95-83. Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84, agency: 011 Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Dragomir Marojevic supported him with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Even 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists by Serbian center Bojan Stanojevic (203-88) did not help to save the game for Mladost. Gradjanski (3-7) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Siroki Primorka. Mladost lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Gradjanski will play against higher ranked Spars Sarajevo (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mladost will play against Leotar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Sloboda Tuzla - Siroki Primorka 85-69

Very expected game when 8th ranked Siroki Primorka (3-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Sloboda Tuzla (6-3) 85-69 on Thursday. Sloboda Tuzla forced 22 Siroki Primorka turnovers. The former international Almir Hasandic (191-90) fired 23 points for the winners. Forward Enes Latifagic (200-92) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Sloboda Tuzla players scored in double figures. Croatian center Ante Djugum (211-88, agency: Court Side) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Dario Dreznjak (202-98) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sloboda Tuzla have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Siroki Primorka keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Gradjanski. Sloboda Tuzla will meet league's second-placed Zrinjski HT in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Siroki Primorka will play against Bosnjak (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
