We bring you last week's top performances from Bosnians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Zack Wright (191-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in Basketball Champions League). He could not help Monaco (12-2) in their last game. Despite Wright's good performance the first-placed Monaco (12-2) was edged 69-68 on the road by the second-ranked AEK Athens in the group A of Basketball Champions League. He was the top scorer with 11 points. Wright also added 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in 26 minutes on the court. Wright has relatively good stats this year: 10.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.6apg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 40.2%, 3FGP: 29.6% in 15 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Wright is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Bosnia.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Nihad Djedovic (196-90, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Germany). Djedovic was the major contributor in a Bayern Muenchen's victory against the 14th-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-16) crushing them 108-73 in the German BBL last Sunday. He scored 17 points and had 4 steals. FC Bayern Muenchen (19-3) is placed third in the BBL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's Djedovic's fourth season with the team. This year Djedovic averages: 9.3ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 59.0%(49-83), 3FGP: 43.9% and FT: 82.5%. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and German. Djedovic is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Dzanan Musa (204-99, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Croatia). He led Cedevita to a victory over the league outsider Kvarner (2-17) crushing them 75-43 in the Croatian A1 on Thursday night. Musa was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Musa also added 3 assists in 26 minutes. KK Cedevita Zagreb (13-5) is placed fifth in the A1. This year Musa has relatively solid stats: 14.6ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 52.5%, 3FGP: 31.4% and FT: 77.6% in 13 games. He is also a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #4. Center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-88, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help ALBA Berlin (15-9) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Kikanovic's very good performance ALBA Berlin was defeated 81-76 in Goettingen by the much lower-ranked BG Goettingen (#12). He was the top scorer with 24 points. Kikanovic also added 3 passes. Kikanovic has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.9ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.5apg. Kikanovic is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

International shooting guard Adin Vrabac (204-94, currently plays in ABA League) contributed to Partizan's victory against the league outsider Krka (7-18) 94-80 in the ABA League on Sunday night. Vrabac recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. BC Partizan NiS Beograd (19-6) is placed third in the ABA League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the ABA League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Vrabac's overall stats this season are: 5.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.7apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian. Vrabac plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #6. Center Jusuf Nurkic (213-94, currently plays in NBA) contributed to a Portland Trail Blazers' victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (35-28) 114-109 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 12 rebounds. Nurkic also added 6 assists and 5 blocks in 38 minutes. The Portland Trail Blazers have 26-34 record this season. Nurkic has very impressive stats this year: 14.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 4.0apg, 1.5bpg and 1.7spg in six games. Despite he played previously for the Slovenian U16 national team, Nurkic is also an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

   #7. International forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, currently plays in Croatia) helped GKK Sibenik edge the seventh-ranked KK Vrijednosnice Osijek (10-9) 81-80 in the Croatian A1 last Sunday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds. GKK Sibenik (15-4) is placed third in the A1. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Halilovic's first season with the team. Halilovic has reliable stats this year: 14.6ppg, 6.9rpg, 3.6apg, 1.4bpg and 1.3spg. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

Swingman Aleksandar Lazic (201-96, currently plays in Serbia) was the main contributor in a Dynamic BG's victory against the closely-ranked Mladost ZE (11-8) 83-74 in the Serbian KLS in Sunday night's game. Lazic was the best player in that game. He scored 18 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Dynamic BG Beograd (15-4) is placed second in the KLS. Lazic's overall stats this season are: 9.4ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U20 national team.

   #9. International power forward Emir Sulejmanovic (204-95, currently plays in ABA League) was not able to secure a victory for Cibona (11-14) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Sulejmanovic's good performance Cibona was edged 85-84 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked KK_Zadar (#12). He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Sulejmanovic's team will play only one more game in the ABA League Regular Season. Sulejmanovic's overall stats this season are: 7.2ppg and 4.0rpg. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #10. Power forward Jozo Brkic (211-86, currently plays in Croatia) couldn't help Jolly (15-4) in their last game. Despite Brkic's good performance Jolly lost 72-84 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#6) KK_Zadar. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 12 rebounds in 20 minutes. This year Brkic's overall stats are: 9.6ppg and 4.5rpg in 17 games. Despite he played previously for the Croatian U20 national team, Brkic is also a former international player as five years ago he still played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #11. International center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Demir IBB (6-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Demir IBB was defeated 78-67 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked Gaziantep (#7). Stipanovic scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Stipanovic's total stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.5apg. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #12. International swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin, currently plays in Slovenia) helped KK Primorska win their game against the closely-ranked Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj 85-76 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Friday night's game. He scored 13 points, grabbed 7 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls in 34 minutes. This year Gajic's total stats are: 9.6ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.6spg in 20 games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #13. Former U18 international small forward Ivan Ramljak (203-90, currently plays in Croatia) helped KK Zadar win their game against one of league's weakest teams H.Analitica crushing them 96-73 in the Croatian A1 last Saturday. Ramljak recorded 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Ramljak has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.8apg. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team twelve years ago.

   #14. International point guard Alex Renfroe (191-86, another player represented by BeoBasket, college: Belmont, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn't help FC Barcelona in their game against CSKA in the Euroleague. Renfroe scored 5 points. His team was crushed by 24 points 85-61. Renfroe has averaged so far 4.2ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.6apg. He is a naturalized American. Renfroe plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Apparently he has never played in Bosnia.

   #15. Former international power forward Miroslav Todic (205-85, agency: Diamond Sports, currently plays in Greece) couldn't help Promitheas in their game against AEK Athens in the Greek A1, despite his very good performance last Saturday. Todic was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. But his team was badly defeated by 19 points 86-67. Todic's stats this year are: 11.2ppg and 5.4rpg in 11 games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Boris Barac (205-F-92, currently plays in ABA League) led his Croatian team KK Zadar to a surprising victory over the sixth-ranked Cibona (11-14) 85-84 in the ABA League last Wednesday. He was the best player in that game. Barac scored 26 points (!!!), had 9 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 40 minutes. KK Zadar (8-16) is placed 12th in the ABA League. There are only two games left until the end of the ABA League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Barac has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.2ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.9apg in 23 games he played so far.

   #2. Marko Dujkovic (226-C-90, currently plays in Serbia) was the major contributor in Metalac's victory against the closely-ranked KK Napredak Rubin Krusevac (10-9) 100-97 in the Serbian KLS on Sunday night. Dujkovic had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 17 rebounds. He also added 9 blocks in 40 minutes. Metalac Farmakom Valjevo (9-10) is placed tenth in the KLS. This year Dujkovic's overall stats are: 6.9ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.2bpg in 19 games. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and FYR Macedonian.

   #3. Aleksandar Todorovic (206-C/F-87, currently plays in Serbia) led Borac to a victory against the closely-ranked Dunav SB (11-8) 81-69 in the Serbian KLS last Sunday. Todorovic had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 15 rebounds in 36 minutes. KK Borac Mozzart Cacak (14-5) is placed third in the KLS. It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. Todorovic's stats this year are: 13.4ppg and 6.5rpg in 19 games.

   #4. Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to Zlatorog's victory against the fifth-ranked Rogaska (12-8) 61-55 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Saturday night. He scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Zlatorog Lasko (17-4) is placed first in the Liga Nova KBM. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Rizvic averaged so far 13.7ppg, 5.3rpg and 2.4apg.

   #5. Simo Atanackovic (206-F-90, currently plays in Slovenia) led Helios to a victory over the closely-ranked Krka (16-5) 84-78 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Wednesday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Atanackovic scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. Helios Suns Domzale (12-8) is placed sixth in the Liga Nova KBM. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Atanackovic's stats this year are: 12.0ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.2spg in 20 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian. Despite Atanackovic's Bosnia and Herzegovina nationality, he previously played for the Slovenian U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina team.

   #6. Goran Suton (208-C-85, college: Michigan St., currently plays in Spain) could not help Movil Estudiantes (16-5) in their last game. Despite Suton's very good performance Movil Estudiantes lost 71-77 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#14) Joventut. He was the second best scorer with 18 points. Suton also added 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. This year Suton's total stats are: 7.9ppg and 5.7rpg in 22 games. He has both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian nationalities.

   #7. Domagoj Bosnjak (201-F/G-95, currently plays in ABA League) was not able to help Cibona (11-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Bosnjak's good performance Cibona was defeated 100-88 at home by the lower-ranked Mega Leks (#9). He recorded 10 points and added 3 assists. Bosnjak's total stats this season are: 5.9ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg.

   #8. Experienced Dejan Cup (202-PF-83, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Slovenia) was the main contributor in a Hopsi Polzela's victory against the league outsider Portoroz 70-66 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Friday night. Cup was the top player that evening. He scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 31 minutes. Cup's stats this year are: 14.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3spg in 19 games. He also holds two passports: Serbian and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #9. Fahro Alihodzic (208-C-89, college: UAB, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Irakleio crushing them 101-49 in the Greek A2 (second division) last Saturday. Alihodzic was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Alihodzic averaged so far 13.4ppg and 6.2rpg. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and British passports.

   #10. Stefan Matic (196-SG-91, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to Spartak's victory against the closely-ranked Tamis 74-60 in the Serbian KLS in Sunday night's game. Matic recorded 13 points. Matic has averaged so far 4.5ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.2apg.

C.B. Tarragona 2017 (EBA) agreed terms with 25-year old Bosnian swingman Mihajlo Zvonar (195-92) from Cantbasket. In 24 EBA games in Spain he had 8.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.4spg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. The previous (15-16) season Zvonar played at KK Prijedor (1. Liga RS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina league. Sani Campara signs at Palencia - 22 hours ago
Quesos Cerrato de Palencia (LEB Gold) landed 18-year old Bosnian guard Sani Campara (190-99). He played most recently at Real Madrid II in the EBA. In 16 games he averaged 6.8ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.4apg last season. Campara received Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U18 1st Team award in 2017. The previous (15-16) season Campara played at Spars Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I where in 19 games he had 3.6ppg. Bosnians in High School 2017-18! Some of the Bosnians playing in High School in the US include some interesting names and quality prospects. Erwin Gutic: Eurohopes wrote a glowing article on Gutic three years ago when he was playing in an international tournament for the youth team OKK Spars. He has great size 207cm and is skilled.
