Emir Zimic
The Regular Season in Division I just ended.

The most important game in the last round took place in Kakanj between second ranked Spars Sarajevo (11-7) and fifth ranked Kakanj (10-8) on Saturday night. Spars Sarajevo was defeated by Kakanj on the road 71-89. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Spars Sarajevo. Kakanj forced 21 Spars Sarajevo turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for center Emir Zimic (218-86) who led his team to a victory with 7 points and 15 rebounds. Serbian guard Vojin Svilar (187-86, college: W.Georgia, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Kakanj's coach Josip Pandza used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Ibrahim Durmo (201-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for Spars Sarajevo. Kakanj maintains fifth position with 10-8 record. Spars Sarajevo at the other side dropped to the third place with seven games lost. They share the position with Zrinjski HT.
Division I top team - Bosna-Royal (14-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Mladost (5-13) in Mrkonjic Grad 86-66. International Haris Delalic (202-94, agency: AproK Sports Group) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Vladimir Djordjevic chipped in 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian point guard Nenad Djurdjevic (180-87) with 13 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bosna-Royal have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Bosna-Royal maintains first position with 14-4 record. Mladost lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
The game in Siroki Brijeg was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Leotar (7-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Siroki Primorka (7-11). Siroki Primorka managed to secure a 8-point victory 83-75 on Saturday. Dalibor Persic notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by Bojan Pelkic did not help to save the game for Leotar. Leotar's coach Radoslav Ivankovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Siroki Primorka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Leotar and Gradjanski. Leotar lost third consecutive game.

In the last two games of round 18 Gradjanski was beaten by Zrinjski HT on the road 97-82. Bosnjak lost to Sloboda Tuzla on its own court 65-76.
The most impressive performance of 18th round was 23 points and 6 rebounds by Mujo Tuljkovic of Bosnjak.

Siroki Primorka - Leotar 83-75
