The Second Stage in Division I just started.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Igokea (0-1) in Sarajevo on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Bosna-Royal (1-0) 88-84. The former international Goran Ikonic (196-80, agency: BeoExcell) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (209-88, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard James Robinson (190-94, college: Pittsburgh) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bosna-Royal are looking forward to face Kakanj (#4) at home in the next round. Igokea will play against Spars Sarajevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Zrinjski HT's (#1) 75-71 road victory against Kakanj in I. A very close game took place in Mrkonjic Grad between Siroki Primorka and Mladost. Siroki Primorka (1-0) got a very close victory on the road over Mladost (0-1). Siroki Primorka managed to escape with a 1-point win 85-84 on Saturday evening. Jan Mocnik fired 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Milijan Bocka produced 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for lost side. Mladost's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Siroki Primorka will meet at home Gradjanski (#8) in the next round. Mladost will play against Leotar in Trebinje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 1
In I winless Spars Sarajevo lost to undefeated Sloboda Tuzla on the opponent's court 82-91. Bottom-ranked Gradjanski managed to outperform Bosnjak in a home game 80-68.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 16 points and 6 assists by Danilo Negovanovic of Gradjanski.

Sloboda Tuzla used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Sarajevo 91-82 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-82. The former international Almir Hasandic (191-90) fired 24 points for the winners. Power forward Mirza Hrncic (209-86) chipped in 15 points. Sloboda Tuzla's coach Velimir Gasic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian swingman Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) produced 25 points and Serbian center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. A very close game took place in Mrkonjic Grad between Siroki Primorka and Mladost. Siroki Primorka (1-0) got a very close victory on the road over Mladost (0-1). Siroki Primorka managed to escape with a 1-point win 85-84 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-84.
