Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most exciting game of round 6 in the Division I took place in Sarajevo. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd ranked Sloboda Tuzla (3-3) to fifth ranked Spars Sarajevo (2-4) 80-77 on Wednesday evening. Spars Sarajevo made 32-of-40 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Sloboda Tuzla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84) who scored 24 points. Serbian center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Spars Sarajevo's coach Marko Trbic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Almir Hasandic (191-90) who recorded 11 points and 8 assists. Spars Sarajevo maintains fifth position in I with 2-4 record. Sloboda Tuzla at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Spars Sarajevo are looking forward to face league's leader Igokea in Aleksandrovac in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sloboda Tuzla will play at home against the league's second-placed Zrinjski HT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Aleksandrovac. First ranked Igokea faced 4th ranked Bosna-Royal. Host Igokea (5-1) defeated guests from Sarajevo (3-3) 87-74. It was a good game for the former international center Drasko Albijanic (211-86) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 6 rebounds. James Robinson contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Igokea's coach Dragan Bajic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Vladimir Djordjevic (201) replied with 16 points for Bosna-Royal. Defending champion maintains first position in I with 5-1 record. Newly promoted Bosna-Royal keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Igokea will play against Spars Sarajevo (#5) on the road in the next round. Bosna-Royal will play against Kakanj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Zrinjski HT will meet Sloboda Tuzla (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kakanj will play against Bosna-Royal and hopes to get finally their first victory.
A very interesting game took place in Hadzici. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Gradjanski (2-3) to tenth ranked Bosnjak (2-3) 85-83 on Wednesday evening. Amir Dovadzija notched 29 points and 4 assists to lead the effort. Bosnjak maintains tenth position in I with 2-3 record. Bosnjak will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 6 In I Mladost lost to undefeated Siroki Primorka in Siroki Brijeg 63-83.
The best stats of 6th round was 25 points and 12 rebounds by Dragomir Marojevic of Gradjanski.

Liga 6
Zrinjski HT - Kakanj 95-85

Bottom-ranked Kakanj (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 95-85 loss to second ranked Zrinjski HT (5-1) in Mostar on Wednesday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Zrinjski HT shot 62.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 73.7 percentage. Zrinjski HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international point guard Vedran Princ (191-82) scored 22 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Torrion Brummitt (201, college: W.Carolina) chipped in 24 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Croatian swingman Zeljko Palavra (194-82) with 17 points and swingman Dejan Sakotic (195-93) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zrinjski HT maintains second position in I with 5-1 record having just one point less than leader Siroki Primorka. Loser Kakanj still closes the standings with six games lost. Zrinjski HT will meet Sloboda Tuzla (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kakanj will play against Bosna-Royal and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Mladost's (3-2) road loss to top-ranked Siroki Primorka (5-0) 63-83. Siroki Primorka players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Slovenian point guard Jan Mocnik (178-87) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 assists to lead the effort and international Dalibor Persic (196-85, agency: Court Side) supported him with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by Serbian center Bojan Stanojevic (203-88) did not help to save the game for Mladost. Serbian point guard Milijan Bocka (185-82) added 18 points and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Siroki Primorka maintains seventh position in I with 5-0 record. Mladost at the other side keeps the eighth place with two games lost. Siroki Primorka's next round opponent will be Gradjanski (#9) in Bijeljina. Mladost will play at home against Leotar and hope to win that game.

Even a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by Montenegrin center Dragomir Marojevic (207-81) did not help to save the game for Gradjanski. Montenegrin point guard Nenad Vukovic (192-94) added 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Gradjanski players scored in double figures. Bosnjak maintains tenth position in I with 2-3 record.
