Brown
American Devonte Brown (188-G-92) had a great game in the last round for Sloboda Tuzla and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9 (Second Stage).
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 18 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Sloboda Tuzla in his team's victory, helping them to crush, Second Stage bottom-ranked team Kakanj (#6, 0-9) with 18-point margin 79-61. Sloboda Tuzla maintains the 4th position in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Sloboda Tuzla will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Devonte Brown averages this season 8.6ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 37-year old former international forward Mujo Tuljkovic (202-F-79, agency: BeoBasket) of Bosnjak. Tuljkovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Bosnjak was edged by slightly higher-ranked Leotar (#10, 3-4) 88-86. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Bosnjak dropped in the standings to 11th position. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Bosnjak managed to get this Second Stage. Tuljkovic is one of the most experienced players at Bosnjak and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#2). He also registered 6.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Stefan Mijovic (196-G-95) of Leotar (#4). Mijovic scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Leotar, leading his team to a 88-86 win against the lower-ranked Bosnjak (#11, 2-5). The chances of Leotar ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mijovic could help Leotar to bring them higher in the standings. Mijovic has a very solid season. In 24 games in Bosnia he scored 9.5ppg. He also has 4.3rpg and FGP: 64.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Vladimir Aleksic (198-F/G-87) of Leotar - 29 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Maksim Sturanovic (209-C-88) of Bosna-Royal - 14 points and 10 rebounds
6. Milos Markovic (201-G/F-84) of Gradjanski - 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Drasko Knezevic (186-PG-93) of Zrinjski HT - 28 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
8. James Robinson (190-PG-94) of Igokea - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Milijan Bocka (185-PG-82) of Mladost - 19 points and 5 assists
10. Djordje Milosevic (199-SG-93) of Igokea - 16 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
