Miracles Can Happen Bosnia moves onto World Cup 2019!

Bosnia has five players in the NBA and not a single one answered the bell to play for Bosnia at World Cup qualifiers. The NBA was not happy about risking its players to play in what it deemed such a minor tournament. Bosnia was left shorthanded before the qualifying tournament even began as other players refused the call up to the national team and were sanctioned for their absence.

KSBiH brought in the legendary coach Dusko Vujosevic who Sarajevo legend Sasa Danilovic credits with making his career from a youngster from Alponso Polje to an international star. Dule had the pedigree and track record to get the results and the players assembled, quickly assimilated into his structured yet flexible system. Dule demands perfection, effort, hard work and dedication and the players assembled responded to their new coach.

Bosnia went 4-2 in the tournament only losing to Bosnian native Vedran Bosnic who led Sweden to a first place finish in their group. Bosnias only two losses where to Sweden and Bosnic who is an excellent coach. He knew how to exploit Bosnias weaknesses to perfection. Bosnia crushed all their other opponents, winning by a double digit margin in every game.

Armenia tried to stack the deck in their favor by using Americans as their top four international players and yet it didn't keep Bosnia from sweeping them aside.

The team dealt with adversity as the treasonous Alex Renfroe proved once again not to be a reliable partner for the second year in a row. He eventually was kicked off the team and stripped of his Bosnian passport.

Dzanan Musa was the star of the show for Bosnia in 6 games averaging 22.8ppg 3.3rbpg 2.5aspg and proving to be an intense competitor who brings great effort and energy every game.

Adin Vrabac was appointed team captain and deserved the title with his excellent defense, leadership and all around presence. He was an impact maker on the floor even when his shot wasn't going in. His numbers don't tell the whole story of what he contributed but he averaged 9.8ppg 4.8rbpg 1.8aspg.

Edin Atic celebrated a coming out party as well, playing quality minutes, limiting his mistakes and playing well rounded consistent brand of basketball. He proved he could be relied upon in the biggest of minutes and benefited greatly from the coaches confidence in him. He averaged 9.5ppg 5rbpg 1.5aspg while showing great shot selection and control.

Obrad Tomic was a major contributor for Bosnia in the paint. He was a tough handle for the centers in the tournament and destroyed Marquette alum who recently 'discovered' his Armenian heritage. Tomic killed him in the final game in Armenia going 8-11 for 16pts from the field in only 20 minutes while holding Fisher to 6pts 7rbs in 27min. Tomic averaged 9ppg 3.5rbpg 1.3aspg while providing a consistent inside scoring threat.

Players like Markus Loncar, Adi Zahiragic, Aleksdandar Lazic and the entire roster contributed greatly to the teams wins in the tournament.

The entire teams should be given credit for sacrificing personal numbers in favor of team goals and results.
