CS Phoenix Galati (Liga Nationala) landed 23-year old Bosnian international point guard Miljana Dzombeta (169-94). She has played for the last two years at Vrbas Medela in Serbian 1 ZLS. In 21 games she averaged 13.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.6apg (top 4) and 3.2spg (leader !!!) last season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention.
Dzombeta's team made it to the Serbian Cup final in 2016.
She has been also a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina international program for some years. Dzombeta has regularly played for Bosnia and Herzegovina senior team since 2015 and previously for U20 National Team in 2014.
She also represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 0.6ppg.
Dzombeta has played also professionally for other Bosnia and Herzegovina teams like Borac Zvonko, Celik and Bosnia and Herzegovina Women U16 Nat.T..

Goran Lojo has been named the Bosnian Women's National Team head coach. Goran Lojo has experience working with the U18 National Selection. He has worked lately with Play Off Sarajevo.
