The game without a history. Neftochimic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Rilski Sportist's 24. Neftochimic forced 28 Rilski Sportist turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian guard Olga Dubrovina (170-87, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Maria Tsankova (180-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad. Viktoria Mircheva (190-C-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) led Samsun to a victory over the closely-ranked Osmaniye in the Turkish KBSL in Sunday night's game.

#1. This week's number one is former international forward Borislava Hristova (183-96, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA. Hristova could not help the Washington St. in their last game on Saturday. Despite her very good performance the Washington St. was defeated 79-69 at home by the University of Maryland.
Hristova recorded 25 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Hristova has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages: 16.3ppg, 3.5rpg, 2FGP: 53.6%, 3FGP: 38.1% and FT: 63.6%.
Hristova played for the Bulgarian senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne, currently plays in Germany). She was not able to help BC Pharmaserv Marburg in their game against TSV 1880 Wasserburg (9-1) in the German DBBL. It was not Voynova's best game last Sunday.
She recorded only 2 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes.
BC Pharmaserv Marburg was badly defeated 64-48 on the road by the leading TSV 1880 Wasserburg.
It's Voynova's first season with the team.
Voynova is currently seventh on the list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (fourth place).
She has very reliable stats this year: 10.7ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 48.0% and FT: 40.6% in 10 games she played so far.
Voynova is in the roster of the Bulgarian senior national team.
#3. The Bulgarian player who performed third best last week abroad was U20 international point guard Iva Georgieva (170-96, college: Salt Lake CC, currently plays in Italy). Georgieva was not able to secure a victory for the league outsider Alghero (0-7) in their game against Orvieto (5-2) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division).
She scored 9 points and had 5 steals in 28 minutes.
But the 14th-placed Alghero (0-7) was crushed 84-62 on their home court in Alghero by the much higher-ranked (#3) Orvieto in the Group A.
So far Alghero lost all seven games in the Regular Season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Georgieva has relatively good stats this year: 11.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.7bpg, 3.7spg, 2FGP: 35.3%, 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 63.2% in three games.
She is also a member of the Bulgarian U20 national team.
#4. An experienced guard Diana Naydenova-Goryanova (171-73, currently plays in United Kingdom) managed to help Barking Abbey Crusaders in a victory against the league outsider Wolves (0-7) 76-60 in the British WBBL in Sunday night's game.
She recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 20 minutes.
Barking Abbey Crusaders (4-2) is placed fifth in the WBBL.
This year Naydenova-Goryanova's overall stats are: 4.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg in five games.
She used to play for the Bulgarian national team
back in 2008.
#5. U16 international power forward Katrin Stoichkova (182-99, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Viterbo (2-5) in their game against Alpo VF (4-4) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Stoichkova cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones.
She scored only 2 points.
Viterbo (#10) was defeated 58-43 in Verona by the higher-ranked Alpo VF (#6) in the Group B.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
Stoichkova's total stats this season are: 1.8ppg and 1.5rpg.
She used to play for the Bulgarian U16 national team

She was MVP of the game. Mircheva scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 29 minutes.
Canik Belediyesi Samsun (7-4) is placed seventh in the KBSL.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Mircheva has relatively good stats this year: 12.8ppg, 9.0rpg and 2.0apg in four games she played so far.
She has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Bulgarian.
#2.Maria Kostourkova (193-C-97, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a Washington St.'s victory against the University of Nebraska 79-65 in the NCAA in Friday night's game.
She scored 6 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
The Washington State University has conference record this season.
Kostourkova's overall stats this year are: 4.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.8bpg and 1.2spg.
She is another player who holds two passports: Bulgarian and Portuguese.
Despite Kostourkova's Bulgarian nationality, she currently plays for the Portuguese U20 national team and is not eligible to play for the Bulgarian team.
#3.Aneliya Draganova (167-PG-99, currently plays in Germany). Draganova could not help Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel (9-1) to beat TG Neuss (8-1).
She recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel was edged 82-79 on the road by the lower-ranked TG Neuss (#3) in the North group.
It was Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel's first loss after nine consecutive victories.
Draganova's overall stats this season are: 6.8ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg.
