Bulgarian U16 National Team recorded the first win at the international tournament in Turkey. They held off the Dutch opponents to improve at 1-1 record. Borislava Hristova (180-F-96) accounted for 19 points to lead the winners. Netherlands fell at 0-2 record after the loss.
Netherlands jumped to an early 7:2 lead but Bulgaria quickly bounced back. They triggered an 18:0 run and eventually posted a 20:9 lead after ten minutes. Bulgaria stretched the lead in the second quarter. They arrived at halftime up by 12 points 39:27. Netherlands took over midway through the third quarter. The Dutch team drew things level at 44. However Bulgaria jumped back into the lead and eked out a 48:46 advantage with ten minutes remaining. Netherlands trailed by a single point 53:54 with less than three minutes remaining. However Borislava Hristova drained a three-pointer and sealed the deal for the winners. Teodora Dineva (175-G-96) connected for 16 points, while Maria Kamburova (182-F-96) finished with 7 points and 8 rebounds for Bulgaria. Janis Ndiba answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds for Netherlands. Emese Hof (188-C-96) had 12 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

27-year old center Chelsey Lee (193-C-89, agency: LBM Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Haskovo 2012 and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13. She had a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds, while her team beat Beroe (#3, 6-4) 82-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. An interesting game for Haskovo 2012 (9-2) which hosted in Haskovo 3rd placed Beroe (6-4). First ranked Haskovo 2012 managed to get a 6-point victory 82-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Beroe. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Haskovo 2012 made 7 blocks.
