FYR Macedonia recorded the third consecutive win at the start of U16 European Championship. They nipped Bulgaria to stay on top of Group B. Kristijan Nikolov (185-G-96) came up with 27 points to lead the effort.
FYR Macedonia erupted for 35 points in the opening quarter to take a 15-point lead. They maintained it throughout the second quarter. FYR Macedonia established a 54:38 halftime buffer. Bulgaria managed to narrow the deficit to 15-point mark before the fourth stanza. Bulgaria however never got closer than 13 points in the fourth period as FYR Macedonia cruised to the victory. Andrej Magdevski (190-G-96) posted 23 points, 10 assists, 7 steals and 6 boards for the winners. Cvetksovski finished with 19 points for FYR Macedonia. Denis Petkov (171-PG-96) answered with 15 points for Bulgaria. Emre Kurt (96) topscored with 19 points in the loss.

The Regular Season in NBL just ended. The most exciting game of round 27 in the NBL took place in Plovdiv.
