The biggest surprise of round 4 in Division A was guest Dunav 2007's (1-3) road victory over bottom-ranked Chavdar (0-4) 98-94 on Sunday evening. Dunav 2007 left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Vidabasket. It was Chavdar's fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Dunav 2007 is looking forward to face higher ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chavdar will play against the league's leader Spartak MVR (#1) in Sofia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Another exciting game was between second ranked UE Varna and 5th ranked Academik Plovdiv where UE Varna (3-1) beat Academik Plovdiv (2-2) on the road 86-79. UE Varna have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted UE Varna maintains second position with 3-1 record behind leader Spartak MVR, which they share with Academik BL. Academik Plovdiv at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Thrace Univ.. UE Varna will play against Vidabasket (#6) at home in the next round. Academik Plovdiv will play against Thrace Univ. in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Tundja Yambol (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old forward Stoyan Petkov (198-85). It is actually his comeback to Yambol as he has played here before. Petkov played most recently at Balkan (NBL). In 32 games he recorded 4.6ppg and 3.8rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. BC Beroe (NBL) re-signed 27-year old swingman Martin Radnev (192-90kg-89). He has played there for the last seven seasons. In 24 NBL games he averaged just 2.8ppg and 1.0rpg last season. Radnev also played 10 games in Balkan League where he had only 1.0ppg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Cherno More Port Varna (NBL) agreed terms with 25-year old Serbian power forward Nikola Djuric (201-91). He has played for the last two seasons at KK Beovuk 72 Beograd in Serbian KLS league. In 20 games he had 7.9ppg and 3.2rpg last season. Djuric's team was Runner-Up of Serbian 2MLS 2015.
