The biggest surprise of round 4 in Division A was guest Dunav 2007's (1-3) road victory over bottom-ranked Chavdar (0-4) 98-94 on Sunday evening. Dunav 2007 left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Vidabasket. It was Chavdar's fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Dunav 2007 is looking forward to face higher ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chavdar will play against the league's leader Spartak MVR (#1) in Sofia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Another exciting game was between second ranked UE Varna and 5th ranked Academik Plovdiv where UE Varna (3-1) beat Academik Plovdiv (2-2) on the road 86-79. UE Varna have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted UE Varna maintains second position with 3-1 record behind leader Spartak MVR, which they share with Academik BL. Academik Plovdiv at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Thrace Univ.. UE Varna will play against Vidabasket (#6) at home in the next round. Academik Plovdiv will play against Thrace Univ. in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

24-year old forward Jordan Semple (201-F-92) had a great game in the last round for Akademik PL and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14. He had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Levski (#9, 2-11) with 33-point margin 91-58. Akademik PL maintains the 3rd position in Bulgarian league. Division A Round 14: Cherno More 2 defeats Dolphin in the game between Top 4 teams - 7 days ago
An interesting game for Cherno More 2 (8-4) which played road game in Dolphin against one of their biggest challengers Dolphin (6-6). Third ranked Cherno More 2 had an easy win 121-97. The game was mostly controlled by Cherno More 2. Dolphin managed to win third quarter 34-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
