The most exciting game of round 6 in the Division A took place in Plovdiv. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Dunav 2007 (1-5) to fifth ranked Academik Plovdiv (3-3) 78-76 on Sunday evening. Academik Plovdiv moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Thrace Univ. Dunav 2007 at the other side dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Vidabasket and Chavdar. Academik Plovdiv is looking forward to face league's leader Spartak MVR in Sofia in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Dunav 2007 will play at home against the league's second-placed UE Varna (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Blagoevgrad. Top-ranked Spartak MVR faced 3rd ranked Academic Blagoevgrad. Guests from Sofia (6-0) defeated host Academic Blagoevgrad (4-2) 77-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Academic Blagoevgrad. Undefeated Spartak MVR have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Spartak MVR maintains first position with 6-0 record. Academic Blagoevgrad at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Spartak MVR will play against Academik Plovdiv (#5) at home in the next round. Academic Blagoevgrad will play against Chavdar in Troyan and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Chavdar can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Vida, where they defeated Vidabasket (1-5) 64-58. Chavdar left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Dunav 2007 and Vidabasket. It was Vidabasket's fourth loss in a row. Chavdar's next round opponent will be higher ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (#3) at home and it may be quite challenging game.



Academik PL - Dunav 2007 78-76
