Doneeka Hodges-Lewis
Doneeka Hodges-Lewis
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Doneeka Hodges-Lewis (175-82, agency: LBM Management, college: LSU, currently plays in Turkey). She led Canik Bld to a 2-point victory over the second-ranked Kayseri (5-1) 74-72 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. Hodges-Lewis was MVP of the game. She scored 21 points and added 4 passes in 39 minutes on the court. Canik Belediyesi (3-3) is placed seventh in the TKBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Hodges-Lewis' first year with the team. Hodges-Lewis belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #8) and also on the list of best passers (fifth place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Hodges-Lewis averages: 16.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.3apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 30.6%, 3FGP: 46.9%(15-32) and FT: 75.0% in the six games she played so far.
