Haskovo 2012 bring three new players to bolster their roster.
Haskovo 2012 tabbed 23-year old Montenegrin ex-international power forward Biljana Turcinovic (186-PF-89). She played most recently at Roling Niksic in Montenegrin Prve A ZCKL. She helped them to make it to both league and cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. She can count that season as a very successful as was awarded All-Montenegrin League Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and selected to 1st Team. She was also a member of Montenegrin international program for some years. Turcinovic played for Montenegrin Senior National Team between 2009 and 2011 and previously for U20 National Team between 2007 and 2009. She also represented Montenegro at the Qualifications to European Championships 2013 this year.
Turcinovic is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), Serbia (Usce), Ukraine (Politeh Basket), Bosnia (Mladi Krajisnik).
Haskovo 2012 signed 31-year old Bosnian guard Amra Mehmedic (177-G-81). She just played at Celik in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 9 Adriatic League games this season she had 7.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.3apg. The last season Mehmedic also played at CSM Satu Mare in Romanian Division A. In 36 games last year she recorded 10.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.9apg (top 3) and 1.9spg. She helped them to make it to the final. A very impressive season as she was named to Romanian League All-Bosmans Team.
Mehmedic's team won Romanian League Regular Season in 2011.She was also voted All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Guard of the Year in 2010.
Mehmedic is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in France (Challes-les-Eaux), Sweden (Northland), Bulgaria (Neftochimic).
Haskovo 2012 alos landed 29-year old Bosnian power forward Alma Kovacevic (186-F/C-83). She played recently at Celik in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 9 Adriatic League games this season she averaged 9.4ppg and 2.7rpg. The most of last season Kovacevic spent at ICIM Arad in Romanian Division A. In 17 games last year she had 4.1ppg and 3.8rpg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Kovacevic also played at CSM Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti in Division A earlier that season. In 13 games she had 10.5ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3spg. She contributed to her team making it to the semifinals.
Kovacevic's team won Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in 2011.
She received also All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League 2nd Team award in 2010. Kovacevic represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships Division B 2011 two years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 7.8ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.0spg, FGP: 56.0%, FT: 42.9%.

Dimitrova's 24 points and 8 rebounds give her Player of the Week award - 21 hours ago

22-year old Radostina Dimitrova (181-SF-94) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Montana 2003 and receives a Player of the Week award for round 4. She had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Montana 2003 in her team's victory, helping them to beat Beroe (#3, 1-2) 80-65. We bring you last week's top performances from Bulgarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an international power forward Diana Voynova (192-88). She was the major contributor in an overtime BC Pharmaserv Marburg's victory against the ninth-ranked SV Halle Lions in the German DBBL in Saturday night's game.    [read more]

An interesting game for Haskovo 2012 (3-1) which played road game in Burgas against one of their biggest challengers Neftochimic (1-2). Second ranked Haskovo 2012 had an easy win 84-62. Haskovo 2012 forced 22 Neftochimic turnovers.
